Its just hard to to sell some thing that I have "protected" and put so much time and money into over the last 6 years. I bought the car originally to go visit the girl that is now my wife. Over the years going to shows and on drives in it is what her and I did together and I even asked her to marry me while out on a drive in that car.........would kill me to sell it and find out some ******* wrecked it

That is how I feel too.

Yea I love the car but im to the point where it almost feels like a ball and chain lol
I have wanted an S2K for a long time, I came to Hondas after owning 8 RX-7's so I am a sports car fanatic originally. I just cant deal with finicky rotarys any more I love the fact that my Honda always starts lol

I think there comes a point in life when you eventually move on from something. Its hard to part ways with things that bring memories, and its because of those memories more than loving the material, usually.

I sold my hatch and I miss it from time to time, then again I remember how mad it made me when I took it places and the wiring was so bad... I do miss how a lot of people liked the color and all that cool stuff.
But now I don't really care, I finally got my EM1 close to being finished that I have totally rebuilt over the past 3 years; that and it is my very first car I ever owned. I don't really think it would be possible to sell the car. It has been through hell and back with me and even ruined some relationships haha but I will never regret any of it.

My car is the only thing that can truly **** me off to the point where I want to punch something, but I guess if it was easy everyone would do it.....
I'm having trouble with my rear disk conversion on everything I touch and it is very testing, but when it's all done I will feel pretty good that it got done and I did it all myself.

I dont drive the car when the weather is bad (which is quite a bit in seattle) and I have to much money into the car to feel like I can daily drive it. If it got stolen daily driving it, which is very likely that it would in WA I would pretty much be SOL + im 31 and dont want to daily a HB any way. If im going to have a car that only comes out on weekends/sunny days I may want some thing different.
Also I have not had a garage for the last 2 years so the car stays some where else.....I would prob drive it more if it was just right out side the door. I just moved out to SC for a year so maybe I should just hold off and wait till I move back to WA to decide.

Im in the same position you are right now brotha. im torn between keeping it and selling it. Im not the type of person that can change cars like some people do sneakers.and the place im at now is not the greatest spot to to have a nice hatch parked outside. even tho ive only had the car for a lil over a year and a half, still has a lot of meaning and value to me. and ive come to realize that after you dump a certain amount of money into a civic, it just doest not become "daily friendly" anymore, and you want to protect your investment. So you have no other option but to get a second daily, reliable, worry free, car that you can still take to the movies,train station, and the mall. and not worry if its gonna be there when you get back.
