Yea I was surprised to see a set in this condition appear on yahoo japan so I jumped on them.

Just some info for those who may be curious - a few people have asked me if they are gabs, they are similar, but there are some distinct differences between the centres. Barrels are the same though. Both wheels made by Enkei, and they share barrels with the original J-speed 2, J-speed 3, and cpr etc

Gabs stamped in 1995, and RC-S stamped in 1994.

I am planing on doing that on whatever piece I do not like or is in bad shape but I know the carpet will be bad unless the owner before me already replaced it. I guess I should just save up and get some nice seats and save some money. But I hope I can fined a si with an engine swap or at least low miles on the stock engine.

Yo so Some one tried to jack my hatch today.... FAIL.... but they messed the key cylinder up only turns from accesories to turn on the car but than is a hassel to turn off any one know how to remove the key cylinder or have pics to show how?

 

$275 for 2 seats, 2 brackets and 2 "safety" harnesses............your going to trust your life to that cheap ****???

If you want a seat buy a buddy club bucket they are cheap and good......or F1 spec has type 5 seats on sale right now 2 for $400 shipped, I would trust a F1 spec more than ebay stuff

I honestly think if I caught someone trying to steal my car I would go f***ing crazy on them lol. Lately I have herd about quite a few eg's getting stolen or attempted to get stolen. Thats why I have security at one of the top things on my list of mods.

 

any ideas besides hiring security for my eg haha?

 

Hiring security? I mean an upgraded security system on your eg. Or you can put it the garage but you prob dont have one (at least not enough room) if it almost got jacked.

ive never really been able to appreciate the J's ducts... i find them a lil too big and kills the clean look of the car...

still prefer the stealth ducts that jbs makes

Js duct is certainly a functional piece, I have one on mine too. Was a little disappointed on how badly it fits though.

I think it would fit nicer with the Js lip underneath 'propping it up' so to speak.

Yeah, fitment on it is horrible. Only way to make it fit proper is to screw on the outside in multiple places.. which looks like complete garbage..

Met with Whiteslips the other day. He picked up some center caps for my wheels, that I couldn't because of work schedule. He met up with me later that night. Tried to offer him funds for taking time out of his evening, but he refused. I did get to see his hatch in person and pics do not do it justice! Thanks again!
