I was thinking the same thing..... Cops for the most part just enforce the laws and if you don't break the law then you don't have much to worry about. I haven't got a ticket in 8 years and haven't been pulled over for a moving violation in 8 years.

 

Should have kept it. Cleanest ITR front end on a Civic to date.

 

I miss that one the most I think.

yeah sure was...What bothers me the most is ,that he was looking for a reason to give me the ticket cuz he originally pulled me over for not having a silincer in my tail pipe...Iv gotten more than 5 tickets for noise reasons on my eg6.Non of the cops that issued these tickets didnt even test my decibels.I eventually went to a engineer who specialized in the feild of decibels,and it so happens that my car was producing 97.6 decibels.The law in cyprus is 101 decibels,all this time i was getting these $130 dollar tickets for no goddam reason..Man this cop got pissed when i pulled out the decibel sheet on him..I rather get a ticket for my seatbelt in the end of the day because It gave me a satisfaction to proove his *** wrong about my noise levels...Good thing though was that he didnt check what was under my hood,although i doubt he would know the difference between a b16a and a b18c but there some cops that know about stuff like that out here...

 

Every cop is looking for a reason to give people tickets. It's their job........

Good job on doing your research and having paperwork for your exhaust though. Cops have tried to pull that on me too because of the way my muffler looks, but in reality it is just as quiet as the stock one was..... I've never gotten a ticket for it though. You should wear your seat belt, especially in a tin can Civic where you need all the help you can get in a wreck.

 

I got an exhaust ticket with my Apex-i N1...immediately purchased a WSII and sprayed it black...never was bothered again.

 

So what your saying is he pulled you over for a loud exhaust, and you didn't put your belt on before he got to the car?

 

I'm glad reno doesn't have exhaust laws, as long as your car is registered and all you won't get bothered, wished I lived in a county where I didn't have to smog though.

on another note i just ordered a gathers 7108sfa headunit that i have been looking for for the past 5 or so years to help complete my full jdm interior, only thing left is jdm headliner and sun visors and maybe a gathers GE-7406 equalizer, so if anyone has some of those things hit me up

 

i need a rear eg6 gather speaker setup...

 

Thinking about selling my car......but unsure =/

I have not really driven it in about a year other than to put it on a trailer or occasionally start it up.....and I want an S2K......decisions suck.

 

Ive been thinking the same thing. I doubt I will though.

Like I said before, s2000 is fun. Love mine. Why havent you driven your car in such a long time?

 

I would sell it if you barely drive it. Buy something your going to want to drive every chance you get.

 

I dont drive the car when the weather is bad (which is quite a bit in seattle) and I have to much money into the car to feel like I can daily drive it. If it got stolen daily driving it, which is very likely that it would in WA I would pretty much be SOL + im 31 and dont want to daily a HB any way. If im going to have a car that only comes out on weekends/sunny days I may want some thing different.

Also I have not had a garage for the last 2 years so the car stays some where else.....I would prob drive it more if it was just right out side the door. I just moved out to SC for a year so maybe I should just hold off and wait till I move back to WA to decide.


Its just hard to to sell some thing that I have "protected" and put so much time and money into over the last 6 years. I bought the car originally to go visit the girl that is now my wife. Over the years going to shows and on drives in it is what her and I did together and I even asked her to marry me while out on a drive in that car.........would kill me to sell it and find out some ******* wrecked it
