How much are authentic spoon wings in the US? I got mine for quite an affordable price I thought considering I had it privately shipped from japan!

I ordered one for my brother last year for $450ish USD. Could be slightly different now

Ah yup, thats not too bad. I paid around 40,000yen shipped directly from Spoon Jp to Aus. I guess I'm used to parts being expensive here

Twinloop suits like a glove btw

Thanks man Hard to get a decent picture right now

I just looked on Inline Four and they were $460 so you only paid about $20 USD more

Is it much more to buy parts over there?

I'd want one someday, the fog around my house on the way to work gets ridiculous, I live at the base of Mt. Baker and on the way to work early in the morning, I see about 15-20 ft. in front, and people behind me fly up like bats out of hell Plus it's a great looking, functional piece.
I believe i paid 160 for it. Was a full set with the outer lights and the fog switch. Was fairly easy to wire it in to work properly. Its bright as hell, my friends that don't know what it is tells me one of my lights is out because the other inner doesn't have a spot for a bulb. And the others say its annoying bright lol. I think GOOD, that way some retard doesn't rear end me. I'll try and take a pic one day for you.

Locally, for sure. Remember you guys stateside have a MUCH larger market and demand, which keeps prices down.

I just get all my stuff from JPN and even the US, it is almost always cheaper than buying locally, even with shipping included.

Im just doing my part to warm up the planet by sending more planes around the world

what kinda things do car's down there have that we don't have in the US? well as far as our hatchbacks are concerned? Nifty little gadgets? Granted my car is slowly becoming more of a track car only. I still like small little knick knacks hence the reason for the rear fog. Completely useless but nice to say I have an oem unit. I'm almost positive i'm the only person in minnesota with this. Whats also funny is i've never even seen another set of 4x100 te37s in white here as well. It kinda sucks how lame the scene is here. Although we do have some diamonds out here.

Not much hey. Bottom of the line hatches (Breeze) have manual mirrors and windows, and carby powered D series motors. Top of the line (Vti) have power mirrors (not power folding) and windows, sunroof, front and rear swaybars, rear speakers (not gathers) and DOHC D series or SOHC vtec D series. No factory delivered B series EGs except for Del Sols. Interior is pretty much the same as US spec too, but all models are gray plastic. Its too warm here to have the funky trinkets like heated mirrors or seats, headlight washers etc, so we get none of that. Weathershields etc on my car are all from overseas.

Infact the only quirky thing I can think of on my old hatch (vti) was a 3rd mini visor, in between the two main visors to fill the gap above the rear view mirror haha.

Pretty much all we got is RHD LOL

Im the same as you, i love OEM parts, my chassis is a JDM chassis but most off the funky parts are off the car at the moment, safely in storage

Lol, I've used it a few times when I had my Si seats, but my GSR seats sit up a lot higher so I never need it.

You're pretty much screwed if you roll superlow rails.

So I drove my car for the first time in a week. I don't think I mentioned it here but last friday I was on my way to a local shop to meet up with a buddy that was gonna have a car dyno tuned. Well on my way there my car decides it wants to **** itself. Another friend brings me a dizzy and I get home, go to autopart store to buy a volt meter and I run these checks on the ign coil and the ignition control module and everything checks out fine. Take the ICM into the store, they find out its bad. I buy a new one, bring it home, install, and the car starts i'm happy. Now here we are again 7 days from the last time I drove it. I'm on my way to get gas, gas light comes on, I **** myself because i'm on e85 and who knows how far i'll get with this lol. Get to the pump and pump 9.5gal so it had more in it then i had thought.
I'm on my way back home just cruising along the highway, shift light goes off(i'm thinking wtf? its set to 7800) RPM just climbs up and then the car dies and back fires. I'm like uhh what the hell? I sit there and crank it over and over and over again and nothing. CEL comes on, Code 15 which is ignition output signal. I wait for my lil bro to show up with tools. I pop off the cap and pull off the rotor. Look at the wires coming out of the ICM and everything is nice and firm. So I just wiggle them. Put everything back on, it fires right back up and now i'm on my way home. WTF (when I say now, I don't really mean now but earlier)

/Rant

sorry guys lol
