Your shaking problem could be unbalanced tires, diff tire pressures, bent rim, CV joints, bent control arm?, or even possibly your blown stock shocks lol
I would guess unbalanced tires or CV joints. Even if the CV boots are not ripped they can still be bad. My car just hammers drivers side axels for some reason, I have one right now that makes god awful noises and the boot is just fine. I get a wobble under acceleration btw untill I replace the axel.
It could even be if you have a rebuilt axel that was not balanced properly.

Unbalanced tires= Check, I don't even have an alignment. I need to get one when I get new tires.
Diff pressures= Slightly off but I've had the oem on winter tires and 00 Si wheels on all seasons and it happens on both so that can't be it.
Bent rim= Not the case.
CV Joints= Passenger side boot ripped recently but this problem has always been there. Drivers side is pretty dried up and almost ripping. This is most likely the cause. Just waiting for spring to replace it.
Shocks= If they were good, the tires wouldnt keep bouncing like they are so Im sure this is part of the problem too. Wheel hop like a **** ahha.
Thanks scotty, I hate the nasty wheel hop
sorry i dont. i have some on fbook of the motor in progress. lol. thanks for the compliment. just beat it to death back then. trying to make it a bit nicer.
hope this helped
Yeah, I just worded it wrong and i know about camber kits. But I think it'd be easier if I just post a pick of what i'm talking about. So i want my stance like that without camber.
^ you will definately need a camber kit to pull of that much positive camber once you dump your car that low. also, i hope you have some stiff suspension cuz that looks like it will bottom out the entire tire into the fender.... :S
I haven't been big in VWs, mainly because of the ****** associated with them, but that's one sweet looking hatch. I wish more people bought old Civics.
It's up to you, man. If you have small wheels, sure spacers would help put that sucker out farther.
If you have wide wheels, then you won't even have that issue.
You should do more research through other sites. Do you know what hellaflush is?
