Don't think I haven't thought of doing that too I'm also looking @ the FAL 3 molded rear windows too

beleive me I've had SOOO many more ideas for the hatch than the sol it's ridiculous

I think my best route though:

-improve the turbo setup(better mani, better DP, backdoor IC, redo charge piping)

-zex 59300 cam and valvetrain(may also port/polish the head can be done for just over 1100 fully done/installed thanks to a guy I know)

-Z6 shortblock with vitaras and LS rods

-retune @ lowest PSI to get 200whp(before block....250 after)

harness bar

2 nice big corbeau racing buckets and brackets with some blue crow harnesses

paint....probably same color as sol(will also shave all emblems....maybe even the moldings too )

done leave everything else pretty much alone

IDK I really liked the color like the day I got it, when I saw it in the pics, and the night I test drove it, but after just one or two days once it's dusty it looks just like primer with a bit of a blue tint but when it's clean it looks nice.

plus there needs to be some body work done on the lower passenger 1/4 panel that had I noticed before I would've asked for more $$$ on top or kept more parts or something

yeah I guess I could, but I really miss the blue metallic already....I think if I shaved all the emblems/modings, went with that color again but done by a real body shop it'd definately be one of the more unique/clean EFs....seems like everyone does EFs just a simple gloss color

IDK I like the battleship grey for the same reason I dislike it...it's almost too simple IMO

I hate standing out, either because I'm naturally shy or going by the philosophy of "the nail that sticks out gets hammered" (mad tokyo drift reference lolz). I wasn't gonna say anything, but my plans for the daily del sol now that the shell is getting sold is to go satin black with polished RSX-Rs. It's new and fresh on a del sol, but it's also simple and not out there. It's not going to attract as much attention, but I think it's gonna look [freak]ing badass

Satin black would look nice, much better than a plain gloss....if it's gonna be simple I much prefer satin to glos....but satin(unless you rattle can it) is usually just as much if not more than any other normal paintjob

IDK....for some reason I like the more metallicky (new word I just made up ) colors

As for price, well if I am gonna paint it from when I got it, I'm going to do it so I only have to do it once haha

that with either some smoked out JDM headlights or the black/amber 1 pc with a retrofit and smoked out tails would be seriously baddass IMO

I love the look of most murdered out cars

saw a gallardo the other day, gloss black paint, super dark tint, blacked out tails, and some black chrome with a red anodized lip 20"+ wheels(whatever size they were they were almost too big )

It's really too bad he's been using other peoples pictures without their consent to sell his stuff. I didn't figure him to be that kinda fellow.

Good point.

Apparently, after he fixed the timing belt, he had to adjust the valves, which went well - but after that the valves were misfiring. So now we're established that there is a bad valve.

Guys - I kind of want to switch back to a stock exhaust system, but I think my piping isn't stock anymore, its 2 1/4.. Anyone know a good stock sounding exhaust that size?

..or do I completely have the wrong idea here, and sound like an idiot?

PLENTY of quiet 2.25" exhaust systems....I'd reccomend going to magnaflow, getting a long perforated core resonator(like a straight through muffler, no restirction, but small enough that it's meant for tight spaces (like between the del sol underside and still have good ground clearance) and then a straight through muffler for the rear

or with that swap if you wanna step up to 2.5" I have a twinloop and 22" magnaflow resonator, both brand new....which reminds me need to add those to the list too LOL

on my b16a hatch, I ran 2.5" piping, just a highflow cat and a twinloop and it was pretty quiet, but with an added 22" resonator it should be slient
