its brand or design that does it. a cheap wheel in chrome will still look cheap.

i never said color didn't play a big part...yes it can make or break a set of wheels.

you said black wheels look cheap but there are PLENTY of black wheels that look quite the opposite. i'd post jimmy/rareeg2's diamond black volk RE30s but will let him or someone else do it instead. those are as far from cheap as you get.

if you're saying the black rota version of cpfs look cheap that solitude posted, then maybe that is so. most likely because they are cheap and would look so in white, silver, chrome, etc.

color isn't the ONLY thing is what i'm saying.

personally i never really liked black wheels simply cause they are the same color as steelies, and yes steelies look cheap because they are. but they recently grew on me because of how agreesive/race like they look.

 

i have other pics saved of that sol with those wheels so no chop. unless they REALLY wanted it to look like they actually owned those wheels and had a lot of time on their hands


edit: it does look like the messed with it a bit to lower the car more. and did some trickery to make the car 'pop' out of the pic.

 

the orange is Petes car (RNP007?)

the wheels are definitely real and not chopped. but the drop/lowering is photochopped.
