I like the angle, the front lip really stands out too.
for not taking the picture at standing height. but the picture seems just a tad underexposed. Again you people need to work on your backgrounds to make the picture stand out.
Backgrounds are key, because you can have the most awesome car and have a sharp picture but if the surroundings dont fit well it will generally look worse than it really is.
And post processing really helps too.

wow, thanks for the great info man
that a huge relief to find that out
From looking at them, I thought they looked like quality and designed really well, better than the competition, and therefore one of the best out there
Even after looking at all the technical articles and stuff I figured they could back up their products
Just went on their site found some good stuff
Like this (copy link...its a PDF):
javascript:MM_openBrWindow('http://www.skunk2.com/editorial/Skunk2_LCA_Comparison.pdf','Tech','width=800,heigh t=600');
or how about this (exactly what you were talking about)

Makes sense they had the same **** as blox since most of their products are the same if not identical...and omni probably got the same stuff from the same place too...but I guess blox isn't lucky enough to have the improved stuff and only skunk2 is...
Glad to know they "revised" their stuff and sounds more like them...not sure if omni does it too, has been looking to do, or already have done it to their LCAs, but know they have redone other products with problems like their master cylinders
I do know that BDL is horrible and doesn't test their items and just releases them for customers to test out with their money, then fix them once people complain
I know of a lot of products that BDL first came out with that don't fit right, have a lot of flaws and problems...i.e. throttle bodies and fuel rails
(both of which I've had to deal with and "modify" to make it work
)
So I guess its better to wait for somethings to be out after a while so they can be fixed and perfected and not always worth having them first...
makes me glad I've waited a while to buy some things (aka slacked) and worried about some of the new things I'm waiting to come out to buy...

Slow today. Alright, Jon and Andy (and anyone else) provide some input as to what tire size I should try to run next year.
Im thinking about stepping up to a 205 50 but the 225 45 is just sooo tempting.
Still on a 15x7 +38 rim (yes I m going to roll the fenders and probably need a spacer)
I just wonder if the 225 is to much for a 7inch rim and if there will be to much sidewall flex.
Thoughts an opinions?
Possible new plate idea also if I can get some more suspension stuff..

Dammet I have a huge list of things I want to buy but no money to buy them.

sorry to say and I could be wrong, but sounds like blow by to me
and the black on the plugs could be burnt oil
then again it could just be running pig rich from the tune
what color is the smoke? blue or black? do you know what fuel pressure you're running? stock injectors and pump i assume too right?
and what do you mean "blow out a spark plug" ?? like one got fouled?
either way I wish you the luck and hope it turns out for the best instead of the worst or the least amount of trouble instead of the most
this type of stuff always happens with new project/big changes and just take time to perfect is all </TD></TR></TABLE>
well at first the color was a clearish blue...than as the revs got higher it went to black. i forgot the fuel pressure, but the injectors are RC 310s. stock fuel pump.
yeah, one got fouled completely. i yanked the plug wire connected to it while the motor was running and the motor still kept going.

pm'd back
a dense, whitish blue says oil to me
and the black is probably from the richness...maybe from the 310s not being fully tuned for overall fuel trim percentage
are you just running a chipped ECU I assume? P72, P28, P30 or something...
it couldn't be residual oil left in your exhaust from your B16 right? that was running fine when you took it out? not burning oil?
well a motor will still run on 3 cylinders but awfully, it will sputter and sound uneven
a motor will even run with holes in the piston and cracked sleeves and even in the wrong firing order...its actually amazing what little it needs but how much it takes to run perfectly....but that has nothing to do with you and not trying to worry you

Oil pump problems? Mine sat for several months while I replaced the tranny suspension and some other stuff shortly after I got it. When I put it back on the road the oil pump failed, froze the #3 rod bearing and shot the rod out the block.
And this was right after I replaced the oil and filter. In went a ZC.

haha, well I guess it started by me wanting and buying the jdm switches first, then HAVING to put them to use and wiring them up to work
The port was actually an idea me and my tuner have talked about forever and I finally made a reality
It was for mine and his convenience to connect to the ecu whenever we needed to tune/datalog instead of scrambling on the floor and it has been working out great
one of the best/most useful mods i've done...
oh and also, the stock block off cap still fits over it so I can cover it back up when not plugged in and make it look stock/stealth

speaking of tuning, there is a great tuner and my buddy in NH/MA area named Steven (S.G.T.) in my area...when you're ready I'll hook you up and give you his info if you're still interested....he's on HT sometimes too
He street and dyno tunes just about any EMS...he's been tuning my car for years through each and every set up and the only one I trust (locally) to tune my car
