Distributor King doesn't sell OEM Honda distributors, so you have to go through them for replacement parts. You're better off buying a new coil and ignitor from Honda/Acura.

Did you at least take off the distributor cap to see if the rotor is still intact?

 

morasso, heres what you do, if you got a buddy with a 92-00 civic/integra you ask if you can test their parts. take the coil out and test that first, then the ignitor. dont buy a new distributor, just buy the new part for about 70 bucks and use the rest on a oil change.

I have researched that.
They had a batch of bad Crankshafts
Most who had the problem began showing at 30K.
Im at 130K and so far so good.

But if the problem does happen, Its ok.
I know someone with a built gsx.
and their job is everything engines.
In a shop.
Honing, everything engines.

got some nice REAL suspension on there i wish i had them. I really want to buy a nice real coilover suspension for my car but then i see the cost and the liability of my car getting stolen

Thanks. They were just sitting there in my garage all lonely and stuff so I decided to put them to good use. The only thing is that I modified the center bushing on DC2 rear LCA's to make them fit. So when I order my Function7 LCA's I am going to ask them to replace the center bushing on their DC model ones with an EK ones.

and i watched Office Space with my g/f last week. i couldn't stop laughing when Laurence calmly said "****** A man." Every time i watch that movie, i laugh at something new.

News pics and a vid from yesterday, put the first good hard 200kms on the motor! No leaks/over heating/etc, just a sticky throttle butterfly to figure out, and a better tune (bogs when first hits VTEC) ..

Uhhh. I already stated in another post that I checked the rotor, its fine. Look, I was freaking out because I didn't know the problem, so I figured i'd post on here to see if anyone could help, apparently that means "flame me".

I've already bought a new distributor. So hopefully we're all good.

I'll make sure that when I have a problem with my car I won't "trouble" you guys with questions.
