How does the EM Racing C-Pillar bar "quick release?"

This would be really handy whenever I need to take an extra passenger.

It doesn't quick realease. You can mount your seatbelts still the way the brackets are made, but I didn't figure that out till later. Oh well, I don't like back seat passengers anyway.

on mine, there is a clip on each side that you can pull out....once you pull it out, the bar comes off with ease. THe brackets are still there, but the bar is gone.

Putting it back on is the harder part....

Oh yeah, I totally forgot about the pins. All I did was put it on. I never mess with it!

I assume you take off the top plastic to the seat belt, then there is a bolt that actually holds in the belt. You take off nut, slide the bar on, put the nut back on and torque the bitch down.

Yeah no need to remove any plastic, you just remove the seatbelt bolts and use them to mount the brackets for the bar!

Looks like you removed the "blue shield" on top of the gauge cluster. Looks nice. One question though, what bulbs did you use in the climate control? They look really bright , I'm going to pick up some replacements tomorrow since I had it all out.

Yes, but for $130 I don't think it's worth it. You can just buy this... http://rev-auto.com/store/prod.../1414 and you'll be good to go.

You can buy mine for less than they charge. It's in great shape, but I carry around passengers to much to warrant it anymore. Toss me a PM is you want it...

yeah I got mine for like $120 a while back. It's kinda expensive but I actually could feel a little difference. Oh and yeah I took out the blue plastic piece that covers the top-light bulbs. And then I used an orange paint marker and painted the tips of all the bulbs!

EDIT: 46 pages and still goin!
