I have actually been putting in some work on my project DA which is shocking to say the least.

iaintnogangster: which verison of the JDP lip is that? I want to order one for my DB1 over the winter.

So thinking I may pull the trigger on an S2k this weekend or so.........

 

better keep the cl for winter duties... what's gonna happen to the da then?

 

It's only MD, winters aren't THAT bad here, The S should be fine, or I can get some snow tires. I will trade in the CL and keep the DA of course!

Looking at getting the wife a Rouge, Murrano or the same Hyundai versions, whatever one she likes. So that may work too.

 

lol man, i've seen first hand what an S is like in the snow. good luck with that one lol. this past winter wasn't bad, but the winter before was just as bad down there as up here when i was workin down in your area

 

S2000 is a lot of fun in the dry. My buddies was a handful at times even in the rain lol. It's not that we drove crazy, but often get caught in an apex of a corner and find that the rear end really likes to break loose. And again this is driving normal, no silly stuff. It was awesome in a snowy parking lot but personally I wouldn't feel good in the snowy streets.

If the winter isn't bad then it should be fine, but I'd even be worried about frost on the streets in that thing. It's not my decision but I can't really say there is a solid yes or no. I'd go for it but pick up a cheap ef for winter

 

^^ this. they def tend to kick out very easily at the worst times. tons of fun on dry roads, but anything else gets sketchy

 

I've never had a problem but I had 17x9 with 245s all the way around.
Most new owners will spin theirs out the first year.

 

finally dericed the gsr....not sure what i want to do with it yet...im thinking its up for sale!

Well after much going back and forth, I think I will just suck it up and drive the CL for a bit longer. Really don't want to take on a new car payment right now, would rather use some of that money and **** it away on the DA!

Gotta go buy 2 more jack stands and get the DA up on them. New bushings, rear camber kit, new rear studs, need new lug nuts and other minor things!!
Thing is going to feel tight and right again!
