Just picked up a DA last night to drop a motor in and do something with. Will try to post pics soon. This car came from Maryland and has some goodies on it.

haha no, I picked a 96 GSR and swapped a JDM front on. In the middle of shaving the bay, caging, tucking the brakes, and building a 500+ whp 2.0L motor. I still have my sleeved b16 but haven't really tried to sell it quite yet.

What are you doing buying b series long blocks?

I think the transmission is probably just as valuable as the long block. B17's suck. People probably want the transmission to mate with a b18c in a da or Ed chassis.

I've never seen a b17 sell for more then $1200... Long blocks usually sell for $900. They aren't really worth much unless you find a specific person who will pay extra.

^Truth. The only person that is going to want to pay any more for a B17 than a B16 is a hardcore db2 enthusiast with deep pockets.

Put in p30 pistons and some itr cams and you have a nice little engine. Why aren't you buying any b series blocks?

What chassis will you put this in.

I am saving my money. I don't enjoy working on the cars and I barely enjoy driving them, and I am not comfortable around the hipsters/children that largely populate the local meets. Just not into it anymore. Except this has me thinking a little: http://hondamarketplace.com/showthread.php?t=3089901

BTW: I know you told me that you would never own a b-series again.

Don't know yet. I have my eye on a 2000 civic sedan. We'll see.
