hey guys. i know a couple of you guys wanted an update on my travels to utah. i arrived safely last week after 36 hours of driving. only got to snowboard once and then i rolled my ankle at the skate park down the street from my house in south SLC. i should be good to go by tomorrow. i finally start work wednesday at the canyons resort. if youve never heard of it you should look it up. biggest resort and ridable acres in the US. here are some pics i took at brighton a few days ago.
oh and i have still yet to see a da here since i arrived. only a bunch of rota loving ricers nad an ef with some rattle can stripes on it. but i have seen a couple of evos and nice subies. there is one guy with a dark silver forester slammed with project mu brakes and some nice te37's.

view from my front yard

i will be hiking and riding this peak by january

SO had some time to work on the car yesterday.
Pulled out the aftermarket alarm:

Figured out my issue, seems to have been a few bad main relays and that my thermo ground is bad. I need to make a new ground and it will be fine.

Yeah guys I'm sorry I've wanted to make these bars for everyone for quite sometime but working out of town means none of my fabrication tools, once I'm home for awhile and I can get ahold of my old metalshop teacher for his plasma cam then I will bust some out for whoever wants them.
i had the same thing with the last grey da i had. when i got it home there was about 5lbs of wires jambed up in the dash from the old alarm which prolly never worked because both doors were filled with glass and almost every piece of glass in the car was not original.
Glad you got to the source of your problem Matt. I was lucky enough to still have the oem alarm in my DA and all harnesses are plug and play inline splitters. Made for a very easy uninstall lol
The thermo ground has been a pita for a while now.
