are any of you DA owners running any type of race header, hytech or rmf? I have both headers and my buddy with the DA was wondering if they would clear...wanted to get some input from here before taking his old **** off

 

it will clear if u cut ur stock crossmember, also ground clearance aint so great

yeah i had to cut mine when i had a header.. now i regert doing it becasue i went back to stock and it looks like **** haha.

if money isn't an issue, get a traction bar...gets rid of that ugly huge stock cross member and allows you to fit basically any header now

 

Yeah i always planned on doing that... but i dont really drive the car anymore so its not a big deal haha.. but when i do agin thats actually one of the first things i want to buy

Yeah it's in bad shape. I take a lot of the blame for that. It wasn't in the best shape when I got it 3 years ago and I sprayed it satin green. Not spray can.. actually gunned it in a booth but it really didn't hold up well. And that engine bay... well that was done with a spray can with the engine inside. The bay should come out looking like roses compared to that before picture.

This is how it sat a little back in the summer of 06 when I parted it out.



I sold it to a buddy but he never actually took it. It spent the next year sitting in my backyard rusting and sinking into the ground. Eventually he just gave the shell back to me. It developed worse rust on the rear quarters during the time it sat and the interior ended up completely soaked with water. I'm slowly attempting to clean it up. I have a lot of work ahead of me.
