You need to basically unbolt the entire assembly and pull it forward to drop the motor out.
Sure it's the motor and not the resistor?
oh trust me if you heard the loud noise it makes when i turn it on you would know right away its the motor lol its gonna need a resistor also it only comes on when you turn the **** to the 2 high spots

Does your car still have the passenger side leak? If so you should fix that too.

Yea and you can also use the Teg Tips on G2IC, which will help you in replacing the plastic grommets under the wiper cowl.

Andy, how's everything working out with the car?
I need to make a new dump and try to figure out something new so it won't be as much stress on the pipe itself.
I also mailed a letter into emissions today to see if they would just waive me through, hope it works : P

how/why would they just wave you through??

car is doing pretty good i guess. havent worked on it for a few days cuz i was so burnt out on it. i've got almost 500 miles on the bottom end now. still need to hook up my o2 sensor and hit it with a timing light but it pulls pretty damn good for all it is. i'm rather impressed with this engine

i def. plan on driving it to MIR

Nice!
Because I wrote that the motor is currently out and bla bla bla, it's not my daily car, bla bla bla.

Apparently it has worked for SOME.
Figured it was worth a shot since I've been waived through every year since I've had the car because the ride height.

Not a huge Benz fan but was riding next to an E63 AMG on the highway the other day, he just gave it a slight throttle increase to change lanes, woo sounds soo mean!

Yes yes, fix the DA. haha.

But if you insist on getting a Euro, id say get a BMW instead of a Benz.
BMW>Benz. :D

I like bmw's but I want something with legroom for backseat passengers. The da will eventually get finished maybe over the winter all depending on how long my stay in pa is on my next trip.

Don't really like either!
Was at a local speed shop (At Speed) open house where my buddy works this weekend and it was full of Porsche, Bmw, Lambo, Ferrari, etc and I must say, woooooooooooooo!
Wish I had the money for some of them.

Also went to a shop in Massases called PTuning's open house, very nice facility!

If you got enough, id say a 5 or 7 Series Bimmer is great and spacious for you. I had one of the older model 7 series and it was roomy and a very comfortable ride.

what did you make the cover out of? dont you want that to be open? isnt an intake of some sorts for the vent system or heater? i would rather take care of mine before it becomes a problem. im not leaking but i want to be prepared.
