As for that yellow one, I'm actually liking the front end. Typically I'm not a fan of the hacked together oem lips but that one looks good I think. And maybe it's the fact that I'm paying more attention to track cars and not hardparkers, but the splitters don't bother me (other than the fact that I'm sure they're only on that car for looks).

 

soooooo my da officially runs again....finally. been over a year since it had an engine in it. still working out kinks though. unfortunately everything didn't go off without a hitch. hopefully over the weekend i can get everything smoothed out and be able to enjoy driving it again.

well i dont have an exhaust to fit it. thought i had a mid pipe but none of mine are long enough. thats a simple trip to the exhaust shop. then when i drove it to work and pulled into work, i was smelling something n thought it was my breaks, n sure enough, front pass side caliper froze up on me. then speedo wasnt working. now i also am not making heat inside the car for some reason. and the last problem is i need to get my teins adjusted and the one doesnt seem to wanna raise up and i really need it to raise.

soo i left my car sit at work for the night and used my gf's car for the night. drove my car back home at the end of the night and all of a sudden the caliper seems to have freed up and the speedo magically started working again. so thats 2 problems down n a few more to go lol.

i guess its slowly coming along. i've really busted my *** on this car the past two days. gotta get the hatch back together today n drive it tonight i guess n try to take my time over the weekend to iron out my da. i dont like driving it until i've really been able to make sure every thing is ok on it

yeah man i'm workin at it. my friend is coming over tomorrow to hopefully get an exhaust welded up.

as for the heat....i have all my fan settings like normal, just not blowing hot air. i'm thinking maybe its a fail safe thermostat and its stuck open? i'll find out tomorrow when i change it out.

lol yeah closest e85 to me is like 30-45 mins away right now

 

check the valve that opens and closes the line in the engine bay too.

Anybody know how to fix the fan speed control ****? Mine only works on full blast since i got my car in august and now it's getting to the colder months so i've been in need of heat when the sun goes down. Having the heat on full blast sucks ***

you need to change the fan resistor....
