Not exactly limp mode but should disable Vtec since your going 0. Had this happen in the past.

Alright Dave, I think I may.
Hey Dave can you do me a favor, can you snap me a cell pic of your dump tube?
I still need to make mine and it looks it'll need to look exactly like yours.

Anyone ever have a fuel smell in their cabin?????? I checked my fuel lines, and they're not cracked or rusty and all my hoses near the fire wall seem to be intact. I really hope its something easy like a fuel filter. not like a cracked gas tank.

well guys, after tomorrow my hatch is officially not legal to drive anymore. inspection runs out as do my tags for the car. i would just renew both but it needs a windshield put in and i dont feel like spending that kinda money on a car i'm not keeping. soooo, once i get the explorer back from the shop and get caught back up on some bills, i'm finally gonna start working on my da again. here's my short term plans to hold me over til winter...

replace windshield
re-spray my engine bay
put my rebuilt b18b in
replace driver side door (stupid hurts!)
make an exhaust for it
new rear lower control arms
get it inspected, re-tag it, and freakin drive it!!!! man i cant wait to drive my da again!!

looking to HOPEFULLY have this accomplished in the next month

You're right, I totally forgot about that. If anyone has pics of a stock looking California smogged setup obd1 vtec and non-gsr manifold post them!

thanks guys. and actually matt, i got my old job back finally. not the greatest, not exactly steady pay, but steady hours at least. i'll always work at least 4 days a week and sometime 5-6 days a week. i've just gotta hurry up n get some bills caught up really fast and then i can get to work on my da again finally. i wanna drive it so bad!! i dont even care if its boosted or not at this point. just wanna get it back together and get everything fixed on it for now i'll work on boost and the exterior over winter

Good man, glad to hear it! Hopefully I will be seeing you at Imports Vs Domestics in November!
We MAY be down there for the entire weekend with my buddies Integra running all motor street and the Eclipse running True Street.

Technically, that is a DA. DA1 is 86-89 Integra RS/LS/GS 5dr
DA3 is 86-89 Integra RS/LS/GS 3dr.

Would but it's too slow for those classes and too far. Don't want to break anything and be a $500 tow home. Think were taking the RAM and a trailer for anything else just in case.

OK I'm getting to my whits end and that's not very far!
So they new dizzy didn't do it. Switching connectors on the distributor wiring harness because the ignitor wire was loose in the connector. The tach still goes crazy and it breaks up.

The ONLY thing I have left is to trace the ignitor wire and see where it's broke because that has to be it.

Has anyone had experience with this where it has NOT been the ignitor?

check ground on thermo housing. also check the connectors to the actual icm for tightness.

it sounds like a ground to the tach or to the ecu.

lol yeah those guys rock out some pretty good times down there. but would still make for some fun experience. and i know exactly what you mean about being too far away. once i ever get my car built to where i feel good enough to run it, i WILL be trailering it down there and back. not even gonna think about trying to drive it 3 hours down, run it, and drive it 3 hours back lol. either way, cant wait to hang out down there and make fun of random people again. always fun times!!
