if your gear doesnt have it attached, then yes, you'll have to get it separate. they're cheap at the dealer

anyone have any opinions on a good catback exhaust..? for a 90-91 DA, the greddy evo any good..? or the skunk2..? really need something catback, that sounds good..i realize it might end up sounding like a honda.. lol, but as long as its semi deep and not raspy..

leaning towards maybe the greddy TI-C, after some research..

 

The TI-C will be kind of raspy. I'd get the HKS HI-power over it. If you want quiet get a chambered setup like Tanabe Hyper Medallion, RSR if you're lucky etc..

 

tanabe ftw i love the way mine sound but im about to get a custom 2.5 inch done once i get my motor in my car and jj bloom is a lil far for me lol i told ya if you get the parts for me and i will ust pay you but im not driving all the way to bloom for parts lol plus that whole vin number cra pwas new they never told me i couldnt purchase anything without vin numbers before

 

i have the RSR and the first thing i thought when i heard it is "it doesnt sound like a honda" ive had a greddy evo2 on a nother car and it was hella raspy, i'll probably never have another greddy exhaust. HKS always sound like a thing of beauty. you cant go wrong there.

 

hks works for me. i might be selling mine soon if your interested.

I was referring to the all motor class, maybe you mis-understood me.

In case you couldn't tell I love me some B series, I was just stating that ALL MOTOR B series cars are a thing of the past when it comes to legitimate drag racing.

 

Because I never post pics and I'm bored at work right now...

 

there is still all motor b-series cars out there in legitimate racing also i agree the k has more potential but it cost twice as much on another note i got my crank gear key and valve cover bolts today but motor may not go in til next spring

 

ehhh not really, it's very tough to make the same power in a B as it is in a K. Most competitive all motor B's may be pushing 280 at best....

 

any pics of the HKS, and how it sits.. if i need an of the stock exhaust stuff to make this exhaust work, well i dont have it, guy before me had a shitty custom one made that was welded from cat to tail pipe.

thanks guys, that exhaust doesnt look to bad, and my buddy has a TI-C on his SR 240, and it sounds ****.. did i mention the car was gonna be turbo one day..? but we will be running a NA set up until paint and stuff is finished..
