I paid $3900 and she had 53,340 miles when I bought her last October. She now has 57,106 miles.

I have since replaced various parts within the engine bay. Needed to replace some of the hoses, get part of the intake, needed a factory ground cable, breather tubes, etc. I will be taking a few pics of the engine bay when she's completely stock again.

The older guy that owned it before me had put red silicone hoses everywhere and an AEM intake.

And I put best in quotes for a reason. But you must admit that the OEM exhaust looks supreme.

This car is clean but not my steez. The CF hood, fake ITR lip, painted bumper lenses, and Rotas kills it ...at least there are no crooked stickers or Wakaba badges on it

I disagree....I think all those things make it nice. It could use some paint on the roof, but other then that its pimp. I can see how the amber bumper lenses on a 92 aint right, but it doesnt make it look bad.

I don't know man. A hood that doesn't match the car, a lip that is an OEM copy and doesnt match the lines of the car, and wheels that at least 2 out of 10 people on H-T have isn't nice to me. I guess "JDM rice"ed out cars just make clean cars like Marble's look THAT much better. I wouldn't dare blemish my DA with any of those parts.

To each their own. I don't want a car that has the same **** on it as all of the others...unless they are STOCK parts.

That car is dope. I probably think that because since the pic is black and white, that car is my twin. (Minus the driver's seat).

but your opinion doesn't really matter. This is from the same guy that says B>K.

Take a ride in a K series Integra or Civic and it will run circles around a B powered chassis and I don't mean on a drag strip either.

Who wouldn't want a lighter motor that makes more horse power and torque?

HAHA you are right sir . I know my opinion doesn't matter. I'm just putting stuff in the thread to keep it going ya know. It's mostly the same guys that post in here anyway.

I know that a K will "run circles" around the B. I've seen first hand the improved technology of the K. It's a square motor now, which is good, and the new rocker system reduces friction and frees up horsepower, as well as the engine being lighter. I even know that the "backwards" manner in which the K mounts coincidentally balances LHD cars with weight distribution. I'm not bashing the K by any means, I just like to rep the B and keep it real OG.

I just don't think K-motors belong in chassis that were made for the B-series. It's just not natural. The K20A EH2 Civic combo is a ******* MONSTER on the track, but there is no way that if you were to compete in a classed race that you would pit a K-Series EH against a B-Series EH, unless they are both in an unlimited FF class. In that class $$$ rules, so a B could potentially beat a lesser modded K (drivers matter too, obviously).

What do you think b_cruz? I'm down for a K, but it would be dropped into a base RSX or an 02+ Civic. What would you put a K in?

I own a 6 spd K powered car, and let me say I miss my B18C very very very very very very much. I'm not doubting how well they run or how strong they are, but I'm a Honda purist at heart, B series for B series and K series for K series... none of this H series for B series and K series for f**king everything bandwagon BS. I'll take my 200 factory HP B18C and call it a day, and love my car all the way around the track with a big smile not caring one bit that I'm being passed by EGs with K series in their butchered engine bays.

see i like that way of thinking....i want to be able to try the whole b-series family...lol, so i dont think i want to mess up my engine bay just to put a k in there and if i blow it i have to shell outanother few grand for a new one. if i blow my ls i have another being built ready to go in....after that i think its ITR engine.

Everytime I see a ghetto looking EH civic with a ghetto hackjob H22A swap with ebay mounts, I go into Rick James mode: "I wish I had four arms... so I can give that Civic FOUR THUMBS DOWN!!!!"

I wouldn't like a K much either if it was in an RSX or Si Civic.

I am a Honda purist also. I have owned 14 cars since 1996 and only 2 of them were non honda. (92 SE-R and 2000 GS400)

I don't understand how a newer technology, higher horsepower and more potential motor is considered bandwagoning.

Who's talking about H series?

Butchered bays? I have never seen a butchured ghetto looking K swap and there are now plenty K hybrids in my area.

I thought like that too until the Modacar meet 3 weeks ago. I took a ride in my first K car. No K pro. Just a Stock K20 R with a stock ECU in a EK Civic. I have ridden in many fast, built N/A and boosted cars. Lets just say I smiled from ear to ear for the rest of that weekend. This is just the beginning. Imagine when tuners have more time developing more products for it, the potential of this motor hasn't even been extracted yet IMO.

Anyways, I am a B series junky also but not by choice. If my money situation gets any better, I will definitely be K powered.

Keep that vintage mentality (similar to most domestic old schoolers) and watch technology pass you by.

Well put. I don't think a K-series belongs in anything older than '96, and I certainly wouldn't put one in my beloved DA, but that doesn't mean I disagree with the reasons it's being done.

I don't think it's right to call K swaps bandwagoning...but it's not wrong to call it that either. Sometimes on H-T I see K swaps similar to 5 Lug conversions. People jock the hell out of 5 lug for the cosmetic aspect of 1 extra lug and not the functionality of bigger brakes and reduced brake fade. How many ppl with 5 lug hit the circuits? How many ppl with K swaps hit the circuits? I see alot of show cars that rock K swaps. What I think he meant was that K swaps are not jocked because they turn older chassis into instant race cars, but because "OMG K SERIES SWAP. THAT IS M4D TYT3" as they stare at a stationary car at a H-T meet.
