If you're modifying a car with nicely engineered parts, it's not going to be cheap no matter what car. Now, on a side note I've been calling all day to find a shop to press out my front lower arm bushings and got a crazy quote for 200!!! The lowest was like 50-100. These are the times I wish I was still in LA. ****in Santa Barbara...

i was thinking about putting brackets on the sides and getting a rear strut bar and mounting it there? anyone got any other suggestions i don't want to bolt it to the chasis

 

hey guys, my buddy gave me his rear strut tower from his EG because he's going to claim the car to the insurance.. I test fitted it to my DA and it turns out that I have to cut some portion of the panels, is there a bracket specifically for the DA? I know I can just take off the panels to avoid cutting them but I can't do that at this time because of some family reasons...

 

you can't cut pieces of your rear panels because of family reasons? is your dead uncle buried in the trunk? that doesnt make any sense.

a friend went in with me ot rent out a giant storage shop to do all our work in and i finally got the civic running again just in time for the race season. its nice. I can get six hondas in there if i squeeze.

mine will be in there later next week but i've been trying to revive the g2 movement in my area and talked two others into building them so far. Thats a friends car he wants me to build. Its going to be an all motor 12sec car.

 

Nice, it would be nice to see more built g2 integrs rather then seeing a million civic hatchbacks everywhere like you usually do

 

hey now! lol. I actually hate them but the car was free for me. I've always wanted to build an h2b car but said if i ever did it would only be in a white EG hatch CX trim only and coincidently my neighbor had exactly that. He was some kid that blew up the motor and asked me if i wanted the car. I figured that to be a sign so i built it. It will be up for sale soon (again) so i can fund my 4 door.


Most of the parts you see in the pics are for the DA. There are the sparco seats by the door and a carbon fiber hood right behind them. Then next to them there is a b20vtec semi built motor next to those and a carbon fiber trunk with FAL glass on top of the DA. Got a lot of good stuff laying around for it.

there is actually about another 5 to 6 feet behind the civic as well. These pics make the area look a little small.

 

I actually like them but around my area everyone has them and they are usually pieces of ****, primered up with fart cans, but for some reason have brand new rota wheels with honda caps even though there cars are fully primered. I hate this area and the trashy cars if you couldn't tell lol. Are you gonna make a thread for the da? I would like to see what you do with it.
