DA Integra's Only
hb420 > Thanks man, I want 1 pieces badly. I gotta get my money up though. I think I saw you selling yours at one time.
Mattb16teg > I appreciate it man. I didn't know about the Innovative Dyno day, we shall see. I'm near Allentown (aka sh*thole) The "H" stays for now lol. The car is black down the center.
I have so much more to do. Lower control arms, new struts, upholstery on door panels, wire tuck, turbo etc... Still love DA's

It's not a tough process and everyone knows I'm a stand up feller!
LoL harsh!
OK guys so its time to buckle down and get the DA done. I have 60 days to complete a engine swap, fix a intermitin electrical problem, and prep and paint the entire car.
I need a little help though.
First off, my engine swap delema. The b18a that is currently on my rs has seen its life, it has rough starts, the injectors are out of spec. but stills runs. I have a 94 wrecked LS with about 100k less miles and its a strong engine. I am looking to drop this bad boy in the RS.
I want to convert to the obd1 harness, but i have never swapped a honda engine before. and i have a feeling that the engine harness ties into many other harnesses such as the dash harness and the Cooling fan/AC module.
So how i see it i can leave the obd0 harness and ecu and just use the obd0 sensors on the 94 engine, but use the obd1 injectors cutting the old injectors wires and clips out and soldering the obd1 clips and wires on the obd0 harness. Will this work?? or will it throw a code..
thats my main problem at the moment

I am gonna use the block and the head, use the obd0 dizzy, harness, and most of the sensors.
I have to use the obd1 injectors, they are within spec and have alot more life on them.
I am also using the new intake manifold, it is alot cleaner looking than the b18a manifold. This will also relocate the MAP from the firewall to the throttle body.
will this work, has anyone performed this before..?
this is just all theory in my head at the moment.
Also looked into it, and time to bust the tig welder or the mig welder, the beed blaster and the band saw out, gonna make a set of 1 inch extended top hats... so the 4 inch drop isnt so bouncy.

i've used a newer intake manifold in a da. its simple. as for injectors though, you're not gonna want to run the obd1s as they do not use a resistor box like the obd0s...unless you delete the resistor box and change the wiring around. keep it simple and stay with obd0 injectors. you find them easily in a junkyard. like herb said, re-use your stock harness. you'll need to make 2 changes to it... 1-extend wires for map sensor if you use the tb mounted sensor, or just leave that one unplugged and keep the fire wall mounted sensor and 2-extend the wires for your coolant temp sensor since on the b18b it is located on the thermostat housing. further more, no need to switch sensors over at all. all the ones on the obd1 will work just fine.
hope all that helps you. if you have any more questions, just ask
yeah i've always either bought my parts brand new or sourced them from somewhere in the bay area, i've pretty much been able to find anything and everything i need from around here
I have a 93 gsr and I swap in a 98 ls motor for the time being. I just started the car today and the oil light come on then faded out alittle then come back on and stay on. Im still using the p61 ecu and I know that i need a pr4. I also took one of the sensor out the b17 and puy it in the b18. threr one plug that hanging behind the motor cause there no (i think) knock sensor on the ls. so why is the light stay on.....
lets see if i can cover everything here lol...
