yeah, people often think rare=nice, not true.

 

Whoever thinks rare=nice must then think 5=4. This is an un-balanced equation. When rare=rare and nice=nice, only then does 4=4 and 5=5. Then and only then can the world resume rotating on it's axis as it should. If rare were to = nice then 5=4, we'd have no balance and the world would be all ****ed up.

 

Koolkid in all seriousness, you didn't have to cut up your car to fit your suspension. I honestly can't believe you did that and thought it would of been cool. If you want some sticky tires there's a lot available now, but I'd recommend getting a 15 inch wheel for the best prices and choices. 16 inch tires have good choices too. Falken RT-615, Kumho Ecsta XS, Dunlop Star spec Z1, Advan Neova AD08, Hankook RS3, Bridgestone RE-11 etc...

 

So since we are on the note of suspension and stuff what is a good spring rate..?

This is why koolkid thought his cutting, which was according to him rare which = nice to him, giving him an unbalanced output. Catastrophe.

There's no such thing as a "good" spring rate. It all depends on you, when you find what you need go from there.

 

So Like the Megan Coil sleeves i just got, Megan usually makes amazing suspension stuff IMO from what i have seen and heard. Any way the spring rate is like 4500 for the front and 3500 for the rear, that seems offly soft compared to that one guys 10k and 12 k. lol

4500 what? I assume you mean 450lbs which is 8kg. I run 12k front 10k rear Swift springs on sleeves. It's pretty stiff to me, but I'm also not dumped either so I get full shock travel with them. That matters a lot too. Saying what's stiff and not can be opinionated also. Why don't you just do some research and find what you need. Don't just get what you think is stiff because everyone else has or is doing it. I tried a few different setups and I feel 12k and 10k is sufficient for me.

 

Matty is right, I went with 12k & 10 k after doing testing with various spring rates in conjunction with going down the 1/4 mile.

 

I ll prolly just have the ones i bought put on like next week when my buddy gets back from picking up his 240 vert. yay.

I ll let you guys know how it goes. and here is the Megan info i just got from the reciept. lol 450 lb/ft Front and 350 lb/ft Rear

 

try to find a lip off the 1st gen integra's like 87-89 i think. Thats the lip me and herb have, looks pretty nice

Might have to trim a small amount off the end but im not sure i think it might be a direct fit just use washers in the right spots so it sits nice
