hey tuanx2o9...i got my hood bra from the same dealer as you...when i bought mines in the begining of december...the parts rep told me that there were only one left...i guess you got the last one...lucky you. oh yeah, i also got a brand new OEM Sunroof visor for $25(the last one they had) but wothout the screws, no matter...got some from OSH

here's are some pictures of my hood bra on my 4dr. right after i installed it before re-fitting it(my promise to dumada9)





and here are more i took today after re-fitting it...also adjusted my front lip. i recommend that you put ur hood bra on two weeks before the weksos show so it can stretch out...fitment wasn't the best at first as you can see from the picture above but A LOT better now!!!

everyone is entitled to their own opinions, i actually think it made my car look better. try picturing it on another color DA, you might think differently, and if not...oh well

i think you look terrible. jk hahaha. idk theres something about oem parts that i like, i wouldnt go for the entire front mask, but something about the hood bra just makes me like it, all about individuality. what set up were you running the 210?

 

db1st did you recently buy a 92-93 black front bumper around the tully area, your car looks familiar. you bought it off a cambodian kid

81mm LS Block
Arias 12:1 Pistons, Static Cmp is around 12:8 with OEM head gasket
Crower Stage 3 cams
Rocket Valvetrain
B16 Ported Head
Hondata S300

 

Looks like it's time for me to find a new lip for my car.

 

it's a 89 integra front lip. also note that all the bolts along the front matches up to the bumper so it's pretty easy to install, but you have to use extended bolts, spacers/washers or just nuts to properly adjust the lip for best fitment. if you go back and look at the picture of the lip before it was adjusted, you can see that it sits too far up and there are gaps at both sides of the bumper where it meets up with the lip, that's how it would look like if you just bolt it right up to the bumper with the original bolts. but with 2½ inch bolts, ALOT of extra nuts/washers and extra time, it's pretty easy.



yeah...that was me...the 92-93 front bumper is coming along well...ALOT of work for just a bumper though, good memory damada9.



hehehe...i just figured since in a couple more days my car is gonna be 18 years old, it's time for her to start wearing a bra!!! dammit...it sounded funny in my head.

what kind of slicks were you running?

im about to start putting my b20vtec set up together, gonna buy my b20 block this week, then head, then tranny. going for b16 head and b16 cable tranny

 

I was running 13" Lenso's with 22X8X13 M&H RoadMaster Slicks.
Had some trouble with my launch, kept bogging but not bad for first time on slicks

 

if i knew they were worth some money i wouldnt have given mine away

on a different note. i always see people from up north rocking that hat that you have. on your avy. is there a meaning behind that?

I am stuck on what to do next on my 92 GS. I need some advice. But first off what is the part# for the sunroof visor? so the bra is $29.95 at the dealer?

 

yeah...both me and Tuanx2o9 got our hood bra off of the Mechanicsville Honda dealership's ebay website...but we got the last ones, i also got the last moonroof visor as well. the bad news is that both parts are discontinued according to all the parts rep that i spoke with, but im not sure if the moonroof visor is discontinued, sorry. when i got the moonroof visor, it didn't come in a honda/acura box...just a regular box & on the receipt it was described under miscellaneous...u can try calling an acura dealership and just order it from them...but im sure it's around $80-$110. good luck!!!
