Bone stock 95 civic ex. Has no name coil overs, and no name headers when I got it.

Had a check engine light for code 7 with a fluctuating idle. Moonroof and drive side window is off track. And driver side fender is messed up.

Car needs a good buff job and work here and there but overall I'm happy with this car.


I already fixed the idling issue so that's good. But future plans :

Realign the window
Replace fender
Respray the car
Rebuild the motor
Function form type 1
Window visor
Mugen front lip
Fog light
Lca

This was (I think) around 2006.


Early test fit on the body kit. It fits much better now.


The previous paint job was very lackluster on the details (like half assed engine compartment) and I also had been waiting almost 7 years on getting my body kit on. We stripped it down this time


This was a few months ago. Right now the shell is painted and just waiting on the doors, hood, fenders, hatch, bumpers and side skirts. Old body shop was dragging so we got tired of waiting and switched after a year of little progress. They are making more progress


This is my engine, and I feel it is very important to point out the Transformers oil cap. It may not add horsepower, but I can pretend I'm driving an alien robot so who cares.


This was after we got my spacers and good wheels back on. Had steelies on for the paint.

the cold air intake, which seems to be a requirement to own an import

did I mention an Autobot oil cap? I'm kind of a tf fan
paint
body kit
new carpet
new quarter glass seals, which made more of a difference than even I thought they would
APC coilovers-with the roads around here had to use them to raise it a little from the weight of the B16.
new step plates and lots of misc trim pieces

After this, I think I may actually be done.

 

i like how clean the system is installed.

coupe looks good on those wheels, nice color too.. I use that polish for my headlights

 

I didn't like the color at first but after the buff job, the color is starting to grow on me.

91sedan kid good find on that coupe bro it look like horizon gray metallic. gotta keep these ej1s alive out here in the bay u feel me. good job on the buff too look hella cleaner.

 

Definitely needs some more work but I like the car a lot. The hatch and sedan rear is more round than the coupes. That was one thing I wasn't a big fan off. Will keep everyone updated on the progress as i go.

I got the car Slamed, B18C1 swap and Just flat out thrashed. now I did drive it home BUT I have striped it down and redone all the work the Mentaly handycaped owner befor I had it did. the jumper harness had to be compleatly redone the motor is being compleatly rebuilt and I have fixed and repaired the Int to stock considering it was miss 80% of the screews bolts and panels and had to swap the front springs to the rear on one side as thay were installed wrong.
So I did buy it with most of the parts and some work done but I have Redone all the work the was done and done work that should have been done in the first place.
so do I get to claim Built Not Bought?

 

any updates? I installed some ceramic brake pads last weekend and pretty happy with them, I wish I had enough for the powerslot rotors but still stops pretty hard.

 

i'm in the middle of a turbo upgrade on my integra. hopefully have it all finished up this weekend (changed turbo, manifold, intercooler, and piping). gotta make a down pipe to finish it up

started out with ls-v that was junk



Now Im running a b20z with a b16 intake mani

custom 3in cold air
rmf narrows rep header
2.5in exhaust
function and form type 2 coilovers
16x7 ssr type c's
bunch more work done
ran 14.7 at 93mph in a stock weight ej1 with a stock b20 with i/h/e


plans- s300, cut 100-150lbs of weight, and 75 shot of nitrous

goals are 13's on the motor, 12's on slicks and spray
