In that picture the setup was
Built, Stock bore ls vtec

Built head with Pro 1s
Garrett 60-1
Made a bit over 400

Changed a few things around over the summer. Still working through some kinks.

I actually put GSR cams in and built a new bottom end because my oil pump blew up on the dyno retuning for the electronic controller.
Decided to do a fresh rebuild to ensure quality.
The Pro 1s were too big for the 60-1. Also upgraded to a Garrett 61mm turbo with stage 5 wheel and S cover.

GSR cams are great, have seen numerous 600 + hp cars running them.
81.25mm Block 9:1 pistons for the new bore. I couldn't find a clean stock bore block so had to go a little over. With ff valves, head gasket and block/head combo, the compression is around 10:1.

I've personally seen numerous cars on the dyno and at the track supporting this, you will be fine.

Block is simple, nothing major.
Still looking to keep it around 450 or so. New turbo was picked with this power in mind, will support perfectly. Looking at compressor maps is the key to choosing an efficient turbo!

so last night i was working on my car trying to figure why my CEL was on. turns out one of my injector O rings was bad. Got it replaced today and now im going to pick up an obd1 LS dizzy. Tested my brother dizzy and the code was gone so im guessing something is wrong with the dizzy.

Also im picking up new suspension. something a little different but we'll see how it rides.

so a lil update with my car. nothing overly exciting, but i'm still gettin work in none the less...

painted the side moldings

and then moved on to the bumper "lip" and grill

also re-did the wiring on the pass side bumper light as i kept having issues with it, so now all my lights work correctly finally

and of course, as always, i had some help from one of my kittens

thats it so far. i know, not a great update but hey, i'm working on the car also on the list to be done within the next week is finish all the rest of the trim painting that needs done, re-spray the roof, "new" wheels/tires and a MUCH needed alignment and hopefully finish up everything in the interior. oh, and to also finally get some side skirts back on it!!!

I have been pondering placing my B16A2 into an old Carbed EF Civic, is there any way I can make the Vtec work with a set of twin ida carbs hanging off the back of the engine??
Or would it possibly just be better to run some Vtec killer cams??

I love my D2s honestly they arent super pricey as like some of the tein set ups and on soft they ride really nice. Im thinking about doing the koni gc setup for my DD down the road, about the same price but a smooth ride for the DD
