Picked these up for the J32

so after i got my clutch and posted pics earlier, i ate something quick and then go to work. only took me just under 2.5 hours to put it in by myself, start to finish. that's from running/driving car, completely torn down, back to running driving car again. i was very happy with that. everything went sooo smooth except for putting the tranny back in the car (which sucked big *****!)


i've needed it for a while, and just finally got the money to get it. got it for almost $100 cheaper than anywhere else i found as well which really helped

stage 5 actually... i bought it with one thing in mind.... i have big long term plans for this build and only want to buy the clutch one time. from a lot of users on d-series.org, i learned quickly that this was the clutch to go with.

what do you mean they have your clutch hostage??

man, i FREAKING LOVE IT!!!!! i've got roughly 30-40 miles on it so far and am very very happy with it. can't wait to get it broke in and finally go get my car tuned after i take care of a few other lil things now

sht, i put mine in and drove city to city haha! got out of work around 10am drove from one city where i worked pasted my city where i live, then to a city where my uncle lived then back home. ~90miles a day 5 days straight = ~450-500miles then straight to the dyno right after i turbo'd my car!

hey guys being that i fit the category why not post up in here, love the name hate wen ppl buyother ppls **** already clean or.built and claim they built it. lol they look silly. Well my build consist of a
90 civic sedan LX ”my 4th ef sedan” by the way.
before and how i got it
-maroon exterior and red/maroon interior
-few dents no rust
-stock suspension on no name coils
-amber depo corners and side markers and bumper lights
-stock bottem end with z6 head.” guy said it was a valve tap sure sounded like.it”
-everything else stock ls ecu dont ask lol previous owner
-and a shitty dpfi to mpfi was done so horrible :-(

after
snapped a rod on christmas day scks ”that was that supposly valve tap mind u it was so light it fooled me”
-swapped for a 55k jdm d15b vtec.
-picked up 90-91 ef hatch si front and back interior installed fronts and rear bottoms only.
-had to replace windshield and p.side window due to bricks
-replaced clutch
-full obd0 to obd1 wiring and chipped p28
- new exhaust magnaflow pan with ”og” apexi TIP sound too good.
-RS*R legit sohc headers
-35xt ef sedan cluster ”higher rev” unicorn status :-)
-edm rear fog lights with switch
-edm lower consol
-nrg set-up ”quickrelease”
-momo multicolored wheel
-ef optional bumper guard”OEM”
-DA radiator ”dual core” fits perfect.
-hids
-oem s2k clear side markers”same size as ef chassis”
-clear edm corners
-sunroof installed by myself ”loving it”
-front fog lights oem stanley”88-89 lude fogs”
-raised hood
-mr5's and og sans
-swapped out all maroon/red interior for complete black interior, door panels-dash-rear deck
-da armrest rewrapped in 90-91 si hatch seat material.
-godspeed coils and lca's
-pioneers all around, 1 15”audio pipe/with..1000w mono block kenwood amp, kenwood.headunit.
-window visors not oem and hood bra ”new” also.not oem.but fits lovely.
prolly a few things im.missing lol sorry but this is a before an after thread/group
oh and fresh frost white paint lol.
futur plans are rhd, ef2 front end, and finish my single cam build runs really healthy i love it.

looks prettygood. im not a fan of white, but hey your car. It still looks pretty decent.

My buddies have white mustangs. I must just be over white lol. PLus it gets soooo dirty.

 

lol i hear ya, i went with white because the car is old, and white always brings out any ef whether it be sedan, hatch, Rex, wagon. .. got it painted in march, maybe by dec. ill go black on black :-)

 

hate black.. gets dirty too fast, any dark color gets dirty too fast.

white FTW! wish my ej1 was white.

yea at the moment working on getting , a sk2 stage 1 cam,, blackworks cam gear, skunk2 mani, golden eagle fuel rail and blackworks fpr. a little something for the single jingle. :-)

 

Whattt when you get an ej1, you trade your car without telling me?

oh wow...yea i remember you saying you had some big plansWell i ordered my turbo manifold package that takes like 5 weeks to make and i also ordered my clutch at the same time, shipping all at once. Damn my good taste in turbo parts . But they poped in on my thread and said that things should be getting shipped this week.
