really? i cant tell you how many of the tools my friends and i were off or fragile. 3 of my friends used to work there. some of the stuff isnt bad. their floor jacks are pretty good and some of their larger stuff is good (if you over buy like getting a 3 ton jack instead of a 2 ya know?!). but you do have to be cautious as to what you buy

if you guys can swing it then get craftsman hand tools. they are awesome and if you have problems with them, bring it back and it gets replaced for free. for life. they are like snap-on but a little easier on the wallet

Agreed, I use mastercraft tools, not sure if they sell them in the states since they are the home brand of a place called Canadian tire. Not as good as Snap-on or MAC, but if they break they will replace it no questions asked, for life. no receipt required.

Broke 2 breaker bars in the same day with a big pipe on the end of them trying to take off axle nuts. Even though they know damn well I had a snipe on the end of the bar, they jut walked me over to the display case and got them replaced :D

If i needed to make a living with my tools I'd buy the expensive stuff to save on downtime, but replacing it with a quick run to the store is easy enough for me.

Wow that was alot of reading, ive been gone for a few days due to the busy *** holidays. I got a few pictures from the drive back from my grandmas and let me tell you that the ride there and back is HORRIBLE!!! Seattle roadways are hell on lowered cars. Not to mention a railroad track i had to go over which was sunk in about a foot before getting on the ferry to get back home. But all in all it was a good trip, heres some photos

My trip on the way to Seattle, which is a 2 hour drive from where i live.

Me and my sister were lucky to be the last ones on the ferry! haha

See, my cars so low they can barely put the wood stoppers behind my wheels!

This little macro shot goes to show you how dirty my car is

What would happen if my e-brake wasnt on? lol

its crazy pointless to even wash my car cause it attracts dirt like no other. 20 minutes of driving and my rear hatch glass is fogged with dirt. it sucks. Also im painting it champ white when spring break rolls around so im not trying to keep it clean and pretty just yet lol.

You know dirty white is gonna get? the only color I know that doesnt really look dirty when it is dirty is silver and gray, black and white, by far the hardest colors to upkeep

Oh and Mr. Matt, if your planning on painting your car orange just keep in mind its not the easiest color to paint. Especially if youre not gonna do a single stage. I also had thoughts of painting my coupe orange when i had it but a friend of mine who knows paint told me that if i was gonna do it myself i would get frustrated cause you have to lay down perfect strokes and you gotta put down many layers to get the full color you want.

Ive had a few white cars and im aware that they are hard to keep clean. But also im gonna baby my car after I paint it so it wont be that bad. I like the teal but the body has much work that needs done to it so i figured id paint after all the body work is done. White is the only color I really like on Ef hatches.

and what was the point of posting a picture if youre not gonna join? Just find a single cam, turbo it, and drop it in that integra and you should be good for the squad . Ive seen integras with d-series in them, i had to shake my head in disapointment

Nice Integra, dont like the rims, also I have had dual cams, LS, b16, dont go thinking your integra is better cause I waste LS's all the time and I have to double clutch in third gear, so you might wanna take another look at single cams

harbor freight sux ***. some things are ok but if you want something to last then do not go there.
i've owned plenty of stuff from harbor freight. i do prefer craftsman professional. thats what my tool collection mainly consists of. but, for the big wrenches, harbor freight, some of the smaller stuff, harbor freight. tools that i needed on a daily basis and abused, craftsman. i was a crane mechanic for 3 years and i've seen the toughest of tools fail due to continuous abuse. i've broken craftsman, harbor freight, snap on. i think harbor freight is a good tool for the money, its a very good tool for someone on a budget, or who won't abuse their tools to the limit. i've got around 3k in tools, and honestly, if i would have bought all harbor freight, i'd have way more tools. but, in a demanding industry, craftsman has the best all around value.

No, we have sears too.

And we have a place called princess auto, which is much like your harbor freight.

If i had to guess, mastercraft < craftsman

I'm a cheap ***, so if I can get sears during one of their ridiculous sales, then its worth scoring some craftsman stuff

It's just the way the air swirls around at the back of cars. Most any car gets dirty on its rear surfaces rather quickly
