Yea they also have single cam newer preludes which here in the states only come in h22 h23 form, and accords with 1.8L motors, they have motors we never get, from the high horsepower to the gas sippers

No offense but I dont like how those preludes look, i dont know why but they just look out of place, even lowered they dont look good, I would have just gotten an CB7 or a DA, but that is one clean prelude

Yeah but thats why the prelude is soo unique, its not your typical honda. If you drove one you would know how good of a feeling it is. Especially 3rd and 4th gens. They are way sportier lookin than the civic, and the interior feels like your lower than in a civic especially when its dropped. And also the only hondas with 4 wheel steering.

Yeah i drove a VW the other day, I didnt like it at all. For some reason i felt like I was sitting in a mini van cause of how high the seat sat and the steering wheel placement. Also their pedals feel weird.

wow thread took off in the day i wasnt here, i have to disagree with alot of you about comparing a white car to a black car with how dirty it gets, white is one of the easiest colors to maintain on a car, it doesnt show dirt like black does, you cant see the spider webs in the paint like you can on black cars, also silver and grey are hard colors especially with their clear coats most are not maintained and fade and flake right away, with white you clay it buff and wax and your set. I have done detailing for many many years and have seen how the different colors react with not being taken care of.

ok so whats everybodys setups, we obviously already know that you are single cam, but what kind of mods do you have to your motor, what kind of reviews do you have to the parts etc. I will start

motor d16z6
generic short ram intake
ebay 4-2-1 header
crower stage 2 strip cam
aem tru time cam gear
afpr
edelbrock performer x intake mani
b16 60mm throttle body with fiav deleted

to me it is a little quicker on the top end due to the cam, i have raced other z6 powered coupes with just intake header and exhaust and have pulled on them after 5000rpms, the car does run very very rich and needs to be tuned badly, I think the parts themselves work pretty decent together, but the flow design of the ebay header is pretty much garbage, yes it does allow for easier flow, but the runners are inconsistant, you could go with a oem y8 header (yes i said oem and header in the same sentence) and have the same if not a bit better flow than the ebay versions. The throttle response and vtec engagement on the car is alot faster and smoother now due to the intake mani and tb, i think a benifit would be a small injector upgrade, fuel pump, and then a good tune to put down some real power (yes again i said real power in a sohc thread) These motors are so underestimated and always will be, people spend thousands of dollars to do a 130whp swap, when that same money either N/A or boost could net them the same horsepower and be a sleeper. but we all have a mutual respect for the sohc in this thread. So lets see your setups and how everything works together, and comment and questions.

i would run either a 205/50 or a 205/45, depending on how low you want to go with your car, what offset your wheel is etc. but the above 2 seem to be the most popular, ive ran as wide as a 245, but that was on a 13in autocross wheel so that doesnt really count lol

i would look at doing a exospeed race cam, that made my old a6 wake up like a ****, it didnt pass smog, but i had a si swapped dx ef hatch, so it wouldnt have either way, but the cops couldnt see it when i got pulled over, and run a y8 header with the factory heatshields again no issue with the popo and ref lol, then do a k and n drop in with a home made dry ice holder in the stock intake box and a 60mm throttle body and bam you gots yourself a pretty quick sleeper that looks pretty stock under the hood

the wheels are a standard offset i think, not low offset at all. im looking to go for a modest 2.5" drop with springs and im concerned about rubbing with the 205/55's. Im not worried about rolling, it will be done if needed, but I guess my biggest question is how much lower is the profile on a 205/50 vrs my current size...

its not much of a difference at all, just gives a cleaner appearance with the wheel and tire combo, brings the rim closer to the fender well like a person with a 2in drop with a 55 series tire wont look as low as somebody with a 50 series tire, but they have the same drop, it just looks better basically, plus you get a stiffer sidwall which is good for carving corners hardcore lol. What are your plans for the car?

i don't think they monitor these threads as tough as the regular forum threads. look at the reject squad, lol. we've had 20 pages in a row with no tech some times. its a bs area, and the mods allow a little leaniancy in here. but, if you want tech, i'm sure we can come up with some tech...

i think if we can at least balance the bs with the tech we should be ok, thats all im saying, it doesnt have to be straight up tech, but at least get a good balance is all
