all day everyday ^^ also got my new exeddy Stg2 clutch gonna pull tranny and get the flywheel turned on monday hope to be on the road monday night

 

Cool...I just put my new clutch in, had flywheel redone..Motor is going in the car soon...check out my build thread for pics

LoL JJ and Steve I guess the few of us that actually can safely and make power up there are different. I figured it was just a stock B17 this guy was reving to 9k which prolly wouldnt even rev that high.

So fellas how do you feel about re-using retainers? I think I'm just going to use my old Rocket retainers with my new springs for my new build. I know they dont wear out too bad so just as long as they sit right I was going to use them.

 

lol yeah i know im sure its a stock b17 and hes gonna rev the **** out of it....

i dont see a problem reusing the retainers as long as there is no chips or cracks i would just do a 110% inspection on every one wich im sure you will do ^^

mines sleeping in the garage waiting for me to tear the tranny out and put my new clutch in but i gotta run to my dads and put the clutch and tranny on the motor and pick up some of my tools lol

 

Change for this summer, picked up some buddy club p1's super cheap. $450 with brand new Nitto Neogens. They're 17's, which I was trying to get away from but I could pass these up...really light for the size.

 

lol..The way I look at it man, is you have all that other $ into the motor on a part like retainers that dont really coast that much, I would probley just buy new ones just since you have new valves...I just made kinda same choice with my clutch my old one worked fine and still has meat left, I just thought I wouldnt want the clutch slipping in the middle of the season...

Well guys, took a left turn yesterday, felt like I hit a huge rock, ball joint slammed and dropped right into my rim. BULLSHIT!

 

Oh snap that sucks been a bit since you been on now i know why is the rest of the car OK suspension wise

There was a white turbo DA there, ran a 12.2 but it had clear tails on it

Yeah I will find out tomorrow exactly whats up. I know my half shafts were going out, and I needed new boots on em, but I hope I didn't blow my struts, or my dad will be paying some good money

I still have it...I have it for sale if you like...Its a 6 puck sprung with extreme pp...Still has meat left. I never had any problems with it slipping..it was a 6 puck though and they eat pp up...lol its good though..
