Long story but this is my only car at the moment and I have 2 kids to cart around..SO I have to keep the mods simple and reliable. When I get another car for the wife the car can go down and the real work can begin.
Man those things are expensive, ill keep my stock ones at that price.lol
Ya I understand man when you need a car you cant be out fully building it....I wasnt hating kinda jealous I remember when i wouldnt hasitate about driving to cali or somthing lol, I drive my car on 3 hour trips but makes me nervous somtimes you never know when you mod cars alot

Well I finally started messing with the da tonight, thought i should clean the bay so I did a little wire tuck not done yet heres a quick cell pic...And a pic of my turbo setup and my old intercoolerfor the fans

if the clutch is good in the ls tranny i wouldnt bother.... after all its for dd. personally i like the feel of a tight clutch and prefer a 6 puck even for dd. but i just prefer that. if the stock clutch is good and u dont care i say just keep it unless you have the cash then its your preference bro. hope that helps some.
if he's switching from auto to manual he wont have a clutch to start with...thats why he's asking what clutch to get. but yeah, for learning to drive clutch, plus for the sake of keeping costs down...just got stock. you can get one out of a junkyard for a lil bit of nothing. i've gotten one for 10 bucks before, but that was just the disk. you'll need the fly wheel and pressure plate too. or im sure if you look online you can find someone selling their stock pieces for a lil bit of nothing. and also, id say stick with an ls tranny too since you're not racing and its just a daily driver. it will help on gas mileage too.

damn thats good bro. i just talked to a bud of mine and im going to go the b20v route. im going to keep my ls tranny though. not in the budget to change it, besides that its just a dd anyways so it will be a fun lil drive.
thats cool man. should have lots of torque from that. i'd at least do a nice clutch if you cant do a dif. tranny. im sure you'll be wanting to switch tranny's after drivin it for a lil though. but hey, at least you'll be in vtec longer than the next guy!
lol
lol
lol yeah i was talking about a long *** vtec i do want another clutch though. going to have to wait for a couple months. after i build the motor etc my cash is GOOOOOOOOOONE faster than a line of coke on bush's desk lol
