I tried to work on it today and guess what happened nothing but dumb ****. I went to autozone to get a cap and rotor, go home open the box for the rotor and it's the wrong one, it actually said 8 cylinder on it and it wasn't round. So i went back to return it and the guy thought that i was trying to return something different and trying to get a free part. So he goes to the back to get another rotor and the second box had the same wrong part in it and so did the next one. I returned it and got my money back and went to another autozone that was on my way home and that store had the same ****ing wrong part. So i went out of the way to go to pep boys and they closed 20 minutes before i got there. And you wonder why i don't want to work on this car anymore. Everything that i've done to this car in the past couple of months has been nothing but headaches

 

screw it. why not? you can always upgrade later as you get the extra cash. i would how ever at least try to do a skunk2 intake manifold before you put the motor on. trying to do an intake manifold in the car is a bitch!

and damn herb! wtf?! sounds like someone f*cked up in packaging before shipping. that sucks *** man. i'd be pissed too. i've never heard of such a problem like that. must have been a mass shipment. im about to go check at my local autozone to see if its the same thing. i know the managers in there so i'm sure they'd appreciate the tip on that. if i had an extra one layin around i'd just ship the damn thing to you to help you out. you seem to have the worst luck getting parts lately.

as for the autozone debate...thats where i usually go cuz i know the managers. either there or honda. dont have a local acura dealer thats easily accessible to me. its about a 45 minute drive. honda and zone are about 20 either way. but i really dont have any problems with auto zone.

In my opinion, OEM wheels should be out and replica wheels as well.
