You know, it's not as easy as it sounds. Trying to add a whole community to a list, and constantly having to change it cause some person decided to sell their car, wreck their car, trade their car or for whatever bullsh*t reason, isn't *****n' easy. If you've been here right here from the start like I have, I'm sure you'd see the way things I'm seeing them. Example, member # 49 gets added... 300+ ppl more got added since him. So say he loses his car for whatever reason, you would think that people get dropped on the list to a lower assigned #. But do you really think I have the time to change everyone's # everytime someone sells their DA, wreck, or trade, or impound, etc.? A list is JUST A LIST. AND ITS just a squad, not your LIFE. So cry me a river if you're not in THE LIST. Just be glad you're on here, and able to post in this section cause your no longer a trial user, and your able to talk to really cool people with DAs in this section who'll more than happily help or give you any information you'd want or need.


I've also been thinking about just starting up a whole new list. FRESH and blank.
New requirements will be SET. Example, DAs capable of getting in will have to be in good if not great condition. No more partly painted body parts, mismatched colored body parts, yellow painted stock foglights for the usdm; you see where I'm going with this. You don't necessarily have to have a clean *** DA. Just clean enough to the point where it's presentable.

I'm not sure if you guys hear what goes around, but I hear that people think that the DA squad has a lot of ugly cars and just about takes anyone who wants in, in. It's a new damn year and I'm sure alot of you guys don't want to be one of those people who feel like the DA Squad is just worthless. Let's prove to the Honda scene, that DA Squad HAS nice cars. Yeah?

And just because you think you won't get into the squad because your car looks crappy, then you're probably right. But like I've said before, I WANT PEOPLE WHO ARE DOWN FOR THE DA, and if you say you're down with the DA, then FINISH UP YOUR SH*T, then come back for putting an application to the squad.

personally i think your right Will i too have seen a lot of people talk **** bout our rides (just kause there DA'z) i agree with the whole kutting the list down to less people...

This squad stuff is gay... I just come in here to view other DA's that's what it's all about.

 

Whats up squad? Number 61.5 checkin in. Haven't posted anything in awhile. Picked up another DA last week. Frost white 1990 LS in great condition, only down side is its got a ton of highway miles. Runs great though.

And back to Dee A Nine about the list I totally agree, except that I don't really care about looks as much, it just has to run good. The two I have now look good but not perfect.

well i personally and im sure others will agree... a good looking da isnt always jdm and rare...i think it should be at least all the same color no major dents...doesnt always have to be a type r swapped da but at least have a motor thats not dusty or covered in oil. a good looking da... can just be one thats been taken care of and loved. haha. one that wouldnt be sold to buy a freakin civic hatch or a dc integra(not saying they arent nice, but a da is a whole hell of alot nicer, in my opinion.) and i say that my friends is a rarest thing of all . thats all i have to say about that. lol

 

forreal though, as long as you take care of your car, it should look nice, ****, i bought color matched spray cans, so no one should have an excuse for multi colored unless they're in the process of painting

 

um, wow. not sure what else to say right now. but i do agree with will. the list is rather long. i was lucky enough to get a number but im close to the 400 mark. but also, there are a lot of "members" before me that are no longer around from what i've seen so that cuts the list down. i know my da is not the greatest right now, i'll be the first to admit it (if you look, i've said before that currently my civic is nicer). but, i am in the middle of a build now that will completely change my da inside and out so i can only hope for a spot again once/if a new list is started. until then, you'll see me here every day, like usual.

 

X2 Not to hate but there are a couple cars in the squad that are not the best looking, and I know my DA isnt the nicest but I think its presetable and clean..Im repainting it and tucking the bay right now before I put the fully built motor in, hopefully im worthy

i agree with matt... so many people are sweating it now it seems lol people coming out the woodwork to defend their car lol i think its super funny. lets just continue to talk and be cool with each other and not sweat lists

Then a new list it is. All of you who have a #.. Please remove it cuz it won't be the same as it would on the list.

Just like a job, applications will be accepted... but that doesn't mean you're hired for a spot. But also, be on the lookout for invitations cause those mean you're qualified to get in... that includes the care you put into your car and well presented it is.

Arent you at all worried about getting 300+ applications and having to review them all to see who gets in when there are less then 50 people who are just waiting to get add to the list? Iono tho, new list I guess.

 

he isnt gonna get 300+ applications theres only like 20 members that are that active... and a couple people that wanted in already.

on a different subject...i'm ignoring list chat... im off to church to help build a stage. i wonder if my pastor remembers giving me a hammer is bad news lol i hope everyone has a cool and relaxed day.

 

I just got e set of HID bulbs and ballasts with built in ignitors they r toyota denso ballasts out of an RX and i made an adapter out of an old set of bulbs so i could use them.I already have one RX projector and am working on getting another one and if i can get for what i think i will have $0 into a retrofit how sweet is that!

hey will...are you going to be making the new list in this thread or are you starting a new thread as well? and also, for those who do not get invites, when will they need to apply? im not sure if i'll get one or not, so i was just wondering when the process will begin. not bein pushy, just curious.
