Will this be running full boost?
I have a question, might be kinda dumb. My GSR runs at 4,000 rpm when I'm cruising at 70-75 mph. I've heard with most turbos they reach full boost @3,700 RPM. Does this mean my car(if equipped with turbo) will be running full boost the whole time(going 70) or even partial boost?

Re: Will this be running full boost? (integraty)
it depends if you are on the throttle slighly it will be instant boost if your are passed the spool characteristic of your turbo. So when you mash the gas down bosot will build immediately. you wont be boost unless you are in load though.

Turbochargers activate when load is put on them. Even though you may be moving 75mph, and your engine revving at 4,000rpm...you most likely are just feathering the gas, meaning you aren't putting load on the motor, meaning there is no load on the turbo. Your boost will hover right around 0 on your boost gauge, or slightly below. That means that the motor is working off of the regular 1 bar of atmospheric pressure, and nothing from the turbo. However, as soon as you mash the gas, the turbo will spool immediately.
