Will I achieve my 500+ whp goal? Ideas appreciated too.
I am aiming to hit 500+whp (hopefully more) at 25 psi either ethanol or Q16. My tuner is going to be Tony Palo from T1. Let me know anything else I need to achieve my goal. This is going to be a street car, weekend monster (hopefully). Here's my setup. ( bare with me I'm typing from my phone).
B16 head:
Gsr cams w/ s2 cam gears
Supertech valve spring and retainers
Ferra flat face valves
Gates racing timing belt
RevHard intake manifold
B20 Honda head gasket
70mm omni tb
Omni 4 bar map
B18a1 84mm darton sleeve block:
JE 9.0.1 compression pistons
Crower I beam connecting rods
Honda main and rod bearings STD size.
Micropolish and balance LS crankshaft
Type R oil and water pump
99 gsr transmission:
Quaife LSD
Carbon coated gears
Act heavy duty PP
Act 6 puck sprung clutch
Resurface stock flywheel
Stock gsr axles for now
Turbo kit:
Peakboost FTW ram horn
Tial 38mm wastegate
2.5" custom IC piping all around
Tial 50mm BOV
Peakboost 3" DP
Custom 3" catback exhaust
Precision t3 sc6262sp JB (ar .70 cold anti surge and ar .63 hot side v-band)
Custom dump tube right down below DP
T-bolt clamps all around
Spearco 23x15x2.75 intercooler
Fuel and ignition:
RC 1200cc fuel injectors
Resistor box
Walbro 255 intake
Aem fuel rail
Still debating if I should get a aeromotive or aem fpr
Stock ignition
NGK plugs and plug wires
Others:
Catch can with breathers
2 lines to valve cover and 2 to the back of block
Could be little other things I'm forgetting too.
Will be tuning in hondata s300

^Thanks. That will be even better. Any guesses where my power range will be? I'm not trying to go over 25 psi.

so why have a 4 bar map sensor if no plans to give the turbo pressure? its sleeved. let it make power where it will make it. besides, with such a small gate, you need to make good pressure so the gate won't spike or creep

^ I thought stock map couldn't read boost pass 10 lbs. Of boost? Yep it's sleeved, so you don't think 25 lbs. Isn't enough for the 6262? I know that I probably Max out my fuel system at 25 lbs. or run out of ignition. I had some 880cc that I was close to maxed out around 20 lbs. With a gt30r.

^ you are right shodan. I forgot to list that I'm on a 12 lbs wastegate spring, and I am running a turbo xs boost controller that will only allow boost up to another 12 lbs. I am still debating on which fuel to use. I want to use e85, but The only e85 gas station is like 45 mins from where I live.
Civickiller- yeah my mistake, all the bearings weren't STD size some of them were a different color bearing. I had it plastic gauge and all while assembling them. Yeah I might just hook up the msd ignition kit I have up laying around in the garage.

Yup, changing to a stiffer wastegate spring closer to your target boost level also ensures best spool and response for that given setup.

Now that makes me wonder. When I talked to one of the guys at T1 they recommended for me to get like a 8 lb spring to prevent boost creep? I had a 5 lbs spring on my other setup and when I pulled off my vacuum going to the wg my boost was set at 20 lbs. On this 12 lb spring i don't know yet.

Thanks to Tony and T1 crew I was able to squeeze out 546 whp letting off at 7500 rpm.

them are some nice numbers. is that on the rc 1200 and single walbro? this is giving me high hopes on my setup and getting to 650hp since our setups are close to the same.

This was on E85, intake walbro 255, t1 Bosch 044 online pump and rc 1200cc injectors. Just be sure to have enough fuel.

Yeah I was planning on revving up to 9.5 rpm since the head was built. But I know what to look for on my next visit back to T1.
