2 Questions..... Bosch 044 fitting.... Intank Walbro
This is a turbo car, and I have an intank walbro feeding an inline Bosch 044 (mounted under the car).
1) Is this steel fitting (the one that comes with the bosch) necessary before the AN adapter, or can you just put the AN adapter right onto the bosch?
2) Second question is about the intank walbro. I was changing the sock and the nipple broke off so I tried to drill the plastic and put a screw to hold the sock, but I accidentally drilled to deep and right through I still put the screw in, hoping it will seal... But can this affect anything?

1. Fitting is not necessary.
2. Get a new Walbro, vibration can/will knock loose the screw and sock. $80 will save your motor.
