why 2 bov's?

Default why 2 bov's?

I went to a cra show this weekend in Miami, Fl and saw multiple cars running 2 blow off valves right next to eachother. What good is this/???

Maybe they where running really high lbs. Dont tell you saw a guy boosting 5lbs with 2 bov.

so if i use 8 pounds of boost on the street and 20 at the track i could use 2 bovs and tune one for street and one for track correct.... thanks

It doesn;t work like that. Put it this way, if you get a hole in you tire, the air will come out. If you have 2 holes, more air will come out. Same thing with 2 bov, it will relieve more air. Get it?? That's why only high boost (like 30+ lbs) would need it

say u had adjustable ones like greddy and u turned one i guess to hard and one to soft would it work

this is big on supras, they run huge turbos that move a lot of volume and high boost. the two are needed no doubt...

running one high boost BOV is still more efficient that having two smaller boost BOVs. i think the twin BOVs is more for show pony cars.

if you are making a good deal of power, and when you shift blow intercooler pipes off, two blow off valves would work, or one larger valve. I would assume people would use twin hks valves mainly for the noise, and also for the function.
