TurboXS RFL (PERFORMANCE)
Ok I admit i like the sound of it, but if it doesn't do a good job of venting the air then i dont want it...so does it do a good job or is it just loud?

Re: TurboXS RFL (SOFLSOL)
Yea I heard about the washers, do you have to take apart the BOV everytime you put them on or is adjustable by a screw(correct me if im wrong) like the greddy. You just never hear anything bout they're performance just the way they sound...

All BOV's do pretty much the same thing, just vent excess boost when the TB shuts.
Their durability and fit and finish would be the main quality concerns.
Important features would be: if it's adjustable, mated properly with the amount of boost you plan to run, and if the vented air needs to be recirculated (which you won't need to worry about) Some BOV's like HKS's has a design that makes it impossible to leak air.
Even Turbo (July 03) did a BOV test, and it was pretty much inconclusive.
So, if really like the sound then, take care of all precautions and do a proper install then you'll be set.

TurboXS is fine. I don't know how many people have had problems with them leaking, but my Type S has never leaked. There was a guy on here from Japan who insisted that the clips on the HKS can cause leaks. He claimed that his friend worked for HKS. I suppose this is possible, but my point is that you can't believe everything you read on these forums. I think it pretty much comes down to what sound you want. They all seem to work fine.

No problem with mine... Ran it at 15 psi for about a year. The quality of the diaphragm and the entire unit is pretty good... it is adjustable by adding washers to increase the spring pressure and keep the valve shut at idle.

Re: (Tony the Tiger)
How do you have it attached on the pipe? I have the Drag piping and I don't want to reweld for the RFL. All I found is a Greddy Type-S flange adapter that looked like it might work.
Any suggestions?

Re: (Boofster)
I dunno if it will work. The RFL flanges have a sort of a vacuume part so when you put the flange in it sucks onto the rfl. then tightens with the allen bolts/screws. I'd replace the flange.
