Default BOV's and high boost (type-s)

I have a question regarding the greddy type-s BOV, or really any BOV in general. I had a real hard time getting one, and finally got a brand new leftover...which wasn't really cheap. I love the sound and want to keep it but do not know if its sufficient.

When they say the BOV is good to a certain PSI, what does that mean really? say if its good to 20 psi and your running 25psi what happens? Does it open up and leak or what? And whats the benefits of running 2 bov's? Is that just to help eliminate compressor surge further?

Im not sure what the type-s is good up to, but on this setup I will be running in the high 20psi range or whatever it takes to get close to 600whp out of my sc6176s.

When used at a higher boost level, some bovs can leak. Another problem is that they may not flow enough air through them to prevent compressor surge.....
