to where should i clock the middle section??
hello everybody.
i neet to rotate the middle section (oil/bearing) of my turbo because now the the outlet flange is facing up.
where would be the most optimal spot to clock it ??

The oil inlet should not be more than 30 degrees off center... straight up and down is the best position...

you will find the same thing in that book. I don't see a reason you cant go perfectly vertical so just do it that way.

The drain MUST face down. so spin the middle about 180*. then (assuming the inlet is set up for 1/8"NPT) put that 90* fitting on your turbo pointing tword the front of the car so the feed line loops away from the manifold.

ok sure i will spin the middle, but why do i need to use the 90deg fitting? because the heat? i see alot of peoples run the oil lines between the runners.

Well if you dont use the 90 degree fitting for the oil inlet what else are you going to use it for?
Just set it oil inlet up, oil outlet down, 90 degree fitting in the oil inlet. Then you dont have to worry about heat from the manifold affecting the feed line.

i ran my feed touching my mani for a few months... when i took it apart everything was kosher.
If you are really that concerned, get some aeromotive fire sleeve.. That stuff is the shizzy!!!!
Ir just go with the 90 degree fitting like suggested. Ever consider running a hard line? that is what is on my setup. Functions perfect, looks clean as hell.
