Can the center section of a turbo be a little angled?
I think i know the answer, but it dont hurt to ask.
My drain fitting will rub the Turbo flange on the manifold if its 100% straight up and down. Will it hurt to have it at like a small angle?
I would assume oil would still flow well, but not sure?
Suggestions

Maximum Boost says within 30 degs... I figure, when you're accelerating hard, the oil will back up at the rear of the cavity anyway, so it might as well be angled, and it probably helps a little with drainage under acceleration to aim the drain backwards.

Well mine works a little different. Im on a straight 6. lol
I just figured Id ask here as a general question
But I figured something out. I took the whole center section off and swung the fitting clock wise instead of starting counter clockwise. worked a little better.
Still tight clearance though. The way the turbo is clocked out outlet is facing the strut tower pretty much. So I have a 90degree coupler and the outlet and the drain line like all in the same spot. Thank god I coated everything. I shouldnt have to worry about melting anything. . . . . HOPING
