Whats the highest whp achieved on a stock block sohc?
Just as the topic says, im curious as to who has made the most whp on a stock block sohc? I've heard around 260whp at 17 psi, anyone else??

all i had was a greddy headgasket and arp studs. other than that it was 170k miles+ stock internal d16z6

here is the list of what i had, i might be missing some stuff that i prob dont remember... hte new setup will be similar just a few diff things...
the car ran for over 3months of hard driving untl it overheated one day due to a bad connection on the fan causing the head to warp and of course i still ran it the week after and ended up hydrolocking.....
d16z6 sohc vtec
energy suspension motor mount inserts
drag 3 manifold
precision turbo t3t4 .60/.63ar 50 trim stage 3 wheel ported housings
powerstroke (modified) fmic
celica all trac injectors
supra tt fuel pump
apexi vafc
blitz bov
autometer boost,egt,oil psi gauges
greddy water temp gauge
tial 35mm wastegate
taylor plug wires
msd btm
accel coil
greddy 2mm head gasket
arp head studs
2.5" intercooler piping
2.5 downpipe
fjo wideband o2
battery relocated to the rear
fidanza 7.5lb flywheel
spec 4puc (sprung hub) clutch

Great numbers guys!! But any certian PSI is different on different turbos. 10psi on a T3 is going to be different than 10 psi on a SC61 or a full race T4. The clutch will give up LONG before the block will. Ive run mine up to 12 psi on a Td04h-15g.

what compression were you running in each cylinder? im gonna be running about 1 bar(if i can safely on 93) on a sc32 on my sohc running solid 190 in each cylinder

great numbers guys, Im hoping to make 250+ at around 15psi, just havent finished peicing together my set up yet. I just wanted to see what everyone else has been putting down to bring my hopes up. I know theres hope for the SOHC's!
ps. my buddy David (Vadian on HT) is putting down 414 on his lsvtec so i gotta do something to compete.....

my compression sometimes was around 175 with that head gasket

Why not run a sc50, it will be more efficient on your motor.
