What turbo should i choose?
I have a D16A1 DOHC with all stock internals. I need to know how much boost I can run on my DD without destroying my motor. Also I already have a Garret T04, but I found a Greddy T3/T4, so I have no clue which one I should choose. Can you guys, or girls, help me out?

Re: What turbo should i choose?
greddy never made a t3/t4 based turbo soooooo... yea.
alot of the guys are running straight t2 60 trims, or 50 trim t3/t04e's or some combination of the aforementioned.
search, theres a huge d-series turbo setup thread....

Re: What turbo should i choose?
I say a garrett "super 60" .42/.48 for quick spool..any T28 off a nissan, or the greddy turbo (its a mitsubishi) these will fit perfectly on a stock engine. I wouldnt go over 11-12lbs
of boost unless you tuner has talent.
make sure you get a mini ram or full ram cuz after 6000 rpms, the log manis will hurt your flow
dont forget injectors, fuel pump, FPR, etc...
you just cant slap on a kit and run it. Do you build right the 1st time.
Good Luck dooder~!

heh, for the amount of power these smaller turbochargers help, an rpm number does not determine how well the car will work with a cast manifold. If that were the case every evolution and dsm would be running "mini rams" and "ramhorns". you're fine with a cast one for over 400whp with plenty of response. No need to overdo it.
