what time did the engine blow
I installed drag gen 3 turbo kit in my itr and went for a spin i thought that my tial was setted at low boost but it was setted at full boost as i bypassed the pipe of it. i gave the engine about 4 spins just in second gear and at the 4 one the engine made several misfires at around 6000rpm, the check engine light on that time. i switched the car off, on again and everything came normall again. the day after i have leant a boost gauge and noticed that the car was being boosted at around 17 psi on everything stock. then i haved noticed that by missing link was fault too because everytime the boost was entering, the check engine would lite again. After all this the engine was running good without smoke without anything, but there was only one problem the day after i have found about 3 circulular oil patches underneath the car , and was coming from the oil tank breather which is situated underneat the air intake manifold. Again the car was still running perfect until i went for another drive and in third gear at around 7500rpm i heard i misfire and loads of white smoke came out. i opened the engine and found no: 4 sleeve cracked and the 4 pistons broke from the ring land. What do you think ?the pistons broke the first time when i boosted 17psi and then afterwards the sleeve had cracked after does 2days boosting at just 6.5psi? or everything broke when i was just boosting at 6.5psi? Can any body help me in this find? out thanks in advance.

He probably wants to be sure he knows what damaged it so it does not happen next time around. I would say the 17psi probably did more damge then you think and the 6.5 finished it off, unless it was tuned bad and you got really lucky at 17 psi. Try again, never run without a boost gauge , run conservative fuel and timing till its tuned and hopefully it should run pretty good then.
