Default how much does the engine heat up internally when in boost?

ok this is something that has been bugging me for a long time. i have a turbo d16, its all stock and i'm at 6 psi. whenver i'm in boost its always in the back of my mind like its a bad thing to be in boost and that my engine might detonate if i'm in boost too long.

but i know on cars like the 335 i theyre turbod, and n00b bmw drivers probably hit boost everytime they step on the gas if they have a heavy foot.

so say i was to hit boost every time i stepped on the gas .. not necessaryily full boost to redline .. jsut regular driving ..... would my engine blow up? .. what should i worry about wiht it?

is your car tuned?

i'm making a lot more power than i should be on my stock d16y7, but it has a good tune so i am able to get on the gas daily....and i drive it A LOT

yea its tuned. i mean i can rip it around in boost, but what i'm asking is if its bad to be in boost too long? for instance, i will maybe do like a 2nd and 3rd gear pull with WOT, but then i stay off it for a couple minutes because i feel like i'm pushing the "limits" now these limits are in my head .. and i have no idea what they are when it comes to a turbod honda with a stock engine
