What do ya think... Weldel Log mani + T4 turbine + 38mm Tial...
Is 8 psi Possible at all with this? Or will I boost creep like a ****?
I'm just worried that the 38mm isn't large enough to keep boost at a steady 8psi with such a large turbine. I will also be running a straight 3" DP/exhaust with no cat.
I'm mainly asking this question, because I already own a 38mm...and if it works...I might as well keep it.

my homie had significant boost creep issues with a HX35 (similar size - maybe even bigger than T4) with a Tial 35mm WG running 8.5psi on a GSR. Drag Gen3 manifold, 3" DP, 2.5" exhaust with cat. WG vented to atmsophere via dump tube. Several dump tube variants were tried before one was found that didn't produce 12-13psi boost spikes. Not a setup I would want to try.

Re: (Bryson)
ide say it would be ok...just make the dump tube as straight as possible and clean up the hole where the wastegate flange is welded on, if it needs it.
im pretty sure there are some supra turbo kits that use a 38mm gate with t4 turbos on a lob style manifold

Yeah. I just don't really understand that a couple of people are fine running low boost with the 40mm...but a couple have mentioned creep with the 38mm. How does 2mm make that much of a difference.
Anyone else with input? I really don't have enough info yet to make a valid decision.

Re: (Bryson)
is it at all possible to mount the WG right above the turbo? like where all 4 come together, becasue you wont have any creep like this becasue it's "ideal" according to corkey bell's maximum boost

Well thats pretty much the place where it will be...only not "right in the middle" because of the oil dip stick. It will be off to the left about 1". It will still be right above the T4 flange.
