boost spikes

Default boost spikes

i have the drag kit. the turbonetics wastegate and the apexi boost controller would not hold boost at a certain psi. wat could that be. help

That manifold and wastegate combo is known to do that because of the small size of the wastegate and the wastegate placement.

my deltagate held great under 10 psi.
added a 38mm tial and it held 17 psi no issues.

so ur sayin that i should go for a bigger and different brand of WG. which one should i go for. im want to boost 20 psi


that **** holds no boost at all do u think that it might be the controller. OR than again its the wg.

what size downpipe?
i think you may have another issue.
like i said, i had no issues with my 38mm tial and stock downpipe.

kind of interesting you say that about the downpipe. I just went from my gay little 2.25" downpipe to a 3". I am using an internally gated Garret T3 super 60, and a Hallman ES manual boost controller. Before i had the downpipe upgraded to a 3", the boost held rock solid, now it spikes about 1-2 psi.

the problem is the placement of the gate on the drag manifold. it pulls exh off of one runner only, and a 3" dp exploits that even more.
