Default water injection and Rust

I was just wondering would spraying water into your cylinders eventually cause it to rust??

Oxygen causes rust. No one worries about putting air into their engines.

No concerns.

better options then using water injection to cool the intake charge temps.

i read on here that somebody got creative and sandwiched an air - liquid intercooler between the supercharger and the intake mani and it worked fine... he just couldn't figure out the alternator bracket or something. there's always another option. but water injection will not cause rust.

Just use alcohol with the water that way you can run lower octane fuel as well. Sandwich an intercooler between the supercharger and the block? I'd really like to see that. Is it on some lines of the Endyn unit? Sorry but I wanna run a supercharger on my '87 but I don't like their effeciency levels and would want to run an intercooler with alcohol injection.
What about the block heat on the intercooler being so close and all?

As for rust I wouldn't worry about rust inside a running engine. The water evaporates fast than you can imagine and steam cleans the cylinders. I love pulling apart a super clean motor.
