wastgate wont stay shut.... need help asap!!!
i found out why my cars want making full boost... the WG is opening a bit so it only builds about 4psi... i unhooked the vac line and it spooled up at 3500rpm instead of 42k like it was before and it shots up to 7psi... so i have figured thare is something wrong with the vac line.. i have it teed into the break booster, along with my BOV, should i try taping in someware else??? if so where???
thanks for the help

have you tried changing vaccuum sources or anything like that? how many things do you have teed with the wategate source (just the bov?)? I would think the brake booster would be a good spot but maybe experiment with the different sources.

i was having the same problem, but with a internal wastegate.i just put one of those $5 boost controllers on it,works great, feels nice to get 10 psi now, lol.
i tried all kinds of stuff but could never get it to go higher,i know there was nothing wrong with the wastegte becuse i unhooked it and my psi went up to 15+ with no problems.i think someone said that the size of the vacuum line will make a difference, but i never changed that out to find out.
