Default AVCR help

I did a search and couldnt find any first-hand experience. i have an AVCR hook up to my 35mm Tial and just recently it started creeping. I have it set for 1.10 bar, but it will creep to 1.20 and even 1.50.

I have everything hooked up according to the manual and it worked fine for a few months. I havnt done any recent mods, so i know none of that could be at fault. Has anyone had something like this happen to them? Any advice?

Thanks!

Either you have the duty cycle too high or have a shitty manifold *ahem drag*. If not try setting the F/B Speed higher or lower.

duty cycle is at 30% and i do have the drag manifold there wasnt a problem before, it ran fine and held boost perfectly. I dont know why it would start spiking out of nowhere

How do you have it hooked to the wastegate?

just as the instructions are printed, Com to the top port, and the NC port is tapped into the line between the bottom port on the wastegate and the port on turbo.

I always have mine on. So that I dont spike or underboost. If that doesnt work try the F/B and turn it up on the gears you spike. Also make sure you have good vac sources for AVCR map sensor and boost solenoid.

you could have a crack in your manifold or down pipe, which can cause boost creep.

30% and your getting 1bar? what lb spring do you have on your wastegate? Did you get a exhaust upgrade recently?

i've checked the manifold, no cracks.

I've been running the same exhaust setup for awhile now and it never did this when i first got it installed.

I've got the 7lb spring, set for 1.10 bar at 30% duty cycle. i messed w/ the duty cycle and the F/B setting some, and it helped out a little. I still have some tweeking to do to get it just right, but at least it's getting better!
