Default Wastegate problem

New turbo install on my gsr, this is my first turbo car and I love it.

I've got a tial 38mm WG with a 3 psi spring (yellow) and a manual boost controller.

I'm a little confused as to how to hook the vacuum lines up, I've been reading posts and I think I've got it right but it doesn't stop at 3psi, the WG never opens and it seems I can boost as much as I want, I accidentally took it to 10psi once before I realized I've got a problem.

I'm tapping into a line off the IM, going to the MBC then to the side of the WG. I read through this thread https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=975126 and I'm more confused than ever since the drawing says one way then someone else says if you use an MBC then you hook it up like I've got it. But how I have it doesn't seem to work right.

I was also thinking that I might have too many things on one vacuum line. I have the BOV, WG, and Boost Gauge on one line. Is this going to cause problems?

Maybe I've got the MBC wrong? I have it all the way open which I would think should make it use the spring's setting.

Could I have the 10psi spring even though I asked for the 3psi? I've actually got 2 of the same springs because they screwed up and sent me a spring without a WG then sent me the WG with another spring. So how big is the small spring compared to the big one?

Having all those accessories off of one vaccum line will cause major problems. You will need to seperate all the vaccum lines so each gets an accurate signal. This should solve your problem.
